My husband has always wanted to do a transatlantic crossing and the timing of the Oceania cruise was right. We both love food and wine and that was definitely a selling point to sail with Oceania, as was the relatively smaller ship size.

A transatlantic crossing has been on my bucket list for five tpyears but something always got in the way. When my wife and I made the decision to do it this spring we decided to go upscale since we would be on for two weeks with minimal port calls...thus we picked Oceana. We had a great Butler. Specialty restaurants were excellent. Buffet dinners were excellent. Main dining room a step below but good.
Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly.

This is my sixth cruise, all on Oceania. We chose a transatlantic cruise because we wanted a relaxing two weeks without guilt...we could lie in the sun and read, or participate in shipboard activities without fear of missing something in port.
