Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

Our cabin was large and always clean. The crew was wonderful in every way. The ladies at the reception desk were always cheerful and friendly. They always had answer-or found one right away. We had some items that needed to be transported off after customs and the staff made sure that we had help. I also found out through a grapevine that the staff cares about the people they meet at the Islands ...

Embarkation -not to bad considering they had 2000 people that included 500 spring breakers. Lines moved quickly and everyone was in a good mood. We just hung around the pool at the Sail Away barbecue and drank some Corona's and people watched. We went back to the room were happy to see all the luggage unpacked and went back out. Since we were up at 4am we did not make it long tonight. We would be ...

INTRODUCTION: By way of background, this was my fifth cruise and my girlfriend Paula's first. I am 41 and she is 33. The previous cruises I have been on were NCL Dawn out of NYC, Celebrity Century out of Fort Lauderdale (twice) and an RCCL ship out of Miami whose name escapes me. We arrived at the Pier at approximately 2:45 or 3 p.m. or so. We were able to walk right up to a check-in counter, ...

I had read the message boards for months before boarding on 12/12/04. I was determined to keep an open mind. I travelled with my niece, she was a last minute substitute for my boyfriend. I'll get the bad part out first. We arrived in FLL at 10:45 a.m. Met with NCL reps for the shuttle. Was informed at this point we had to wait until 2:00 p.m. Shuttle didn't arrive until 3:00 p.m. Not a very good ...

After reading everything possible about this ship (more info was found on its previous life "Superstar Leo"!) and viewing all the wonderful pictures - our expectations were growing by the day. The trip exceeded all expectations. Embarkation...a little messy - but we were on the ship within an hour of arriving at the port. Some miscommunications by employees caused some longer waits for some than ...

First off, let me say that I'm always of the opinion that any cruise is far better than no cruise at all. Secondly, this particular cruise experience has taught me a very valuable lesson: you get what you pay for. The NCL Spirit is a wonderful ship and is very well maintained. My dear husband and I enjoyed all of the lounges and other public rooms. Frankly, its one of the best laid out ships ...

Embarkation was very quick and very organized. We checked in 2 hours before the posted departure time - had virtually no wait and were able to board within 15 minutes. Found our cabin on deck 10 (we had several others with us on deck 6 as well). We selected and inside cabin as we tend to spend more time roaming the ship and in the cabin. Found the cabin to be very spacious. Bathroom is by far ...

Well this review is coming almost a month late...but with all the negative reviews it has been getting, I would like to set the record straight for my husband and myself. This was our 1st cruise ever and here is our review. Embarkation -- Living in Fort Lauderdale made our travel one step easier with no hassle from flight arrival or hotels. We got to port at 1:30 p.m. (check in was to start at 4 ...
