The ship was generally in good shape but the stairs were not solid and sagged at times when you went up or down the stairs. We had a nice balcony cabin for overlooking the Panama Canal. Chose this cruise because we had not crossed the Panama Canal. The food was just ok the excursion were also just ok. The bar service in the Spinnaker lounge was mediocre. NCL decided to begin refurbishing the Sun during our cruise with total disregard for the health and safety of the passengers. Paint chips and insulation floating down from the decks and smoke stacks into our food. We chose this cruise specifically for the Panama Canal crossing, but thoroughly enjoyed the ports we visited. Cartegena, Costa Rica, Acupulco, Cabo and Ensenada were pretty touresty. Nicaragua and Guatemala were very interesting and well worth the time and expense. The cruise ship, on the other hand, was disappointing.

This is one of the smaller Norwegian ships but we preferred it. It had a spacious pool deck and plenty of room for sunbeds, it didn't feel cramped like other ships. We had alot of sea days and it was never a problem trying to walk around finding sunbeds like other ships.
