We sailed on the Pearl since it hosted a musical cruise we were interested in. Our balcony cabin on the 9th deck was clean and the bed was comfortable but several maintenance issues were very apparent. We noticed torn wallpaper near where a coat hook had been installed and a light fixture looked liked it had been bounced around a bit and could have used a replacement with something that wasn’t ...

We chose this cruise because it was so inexpensive (our airfare was as much as the cruise); only going to places where walking distances or long bus rides to excursions. Husband uses a rollator for serious back issues. We tried to get spots on snorkeling at both Harvest Caye and Cozumel (HC was sold out on the first day NCL took reservations online. Cozumel was cancelled due to the weather; ...

They usually only have one bartender working at each bar. This means long lines all the time! Maybe it's their way of making sure people don't get to drunk? Either way it's frustrating to purchase a drink package and wait 30 minutes anytime you want one. The restaurants are no better. I think they need more staff or better management. We waited over 45 minutes before our appetizer even arrived. ...

Went on the eleven night cruise out of Miami on the Pearl. This was the longest cruise we had ever been on but it went by fast and was never monotonous. We had an inside cabin… (personally would avoid this floor as it’s under the kitchens and dining area and was pretty noisy.) Food was amazing on buffet and main dinging room Summer Palace. Service was top notch as well although I missed the ...

My husband and I booked this cruise nearly 2 years ago for my 60th Birthday, we booked a club balcony suite on Deck 11, which at the time of booking had a bathtub. Sadly, due to refurbishment, on sail date it had only a shower (which I hate). Boarding We boarded a little later than scheduled which is not good when the terminal building is filling fast, seating is full up and there is only ...

It was when I read "One Night Only with Matt" that I knew they'd stopped caring about the Pearl or anyone on it...

A LITTLE BACKGROUND: My two children (11 and 20) and I chose this cruise because we had 'Piece of Mind credits' that were about to expire. Well... Correction: My two children (11 and 20) and I chose this cruise because we'd never been to Central America before, and thought the Canal would be a pretty interesting spot through which to traverse. We'd also been somewhat disappointed by how ...

My husband (DH) and I just returned from 11 days in the Caribbean on the Norwegian Pearl, in an aft penthouse suite (#8132). The cruise was a partial transit through the Panama Canal. The following are our observations - a wonderful time, with a couple of small hiccups along the way. Embarkation: We embarked in Miami. The new NCL terminal B is beautiful, but things got off to a rocky start ...

I had a Panama cruise cancelled last year because of COVID.It was another company, but still wanted to see it.Glad I went because it's a one time need to see.The cruise was quiet with no children. It was right before Christmas.Staff was friendly and attentive. Some of the passengers seemed a little snobby and entitled.Dont usually see that on NCL.The ship was bright, clean and updated. The food was ...

We selected this cruise to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary and wanted to make it truly special. NCL came through on all fronts. The new Miami Port is spectacular and we were welcomed like royalty. There were plenty of food options from main dining to a pub to Asian fusion to specialty dining. The food was also hot on arrival, seasoned and delicious. The entertainment was most ...

We have taken Norwegian before and once again, it was an excellent cruise!!!! The service we received made us feel like royalty. The crew made every effort to make things perfect. Our room was kept spotless. There were crew members that stood out and truly personify what customer service is. Richard and Jennifer . They both went out of their wat to ensure our meals and service were perfect. We ...
