Just returned from New Year's cruise on Norwegian Jewel. The experience was mediocre at best. Sheets in cabin changed once. Towel animals everyone talked about never appeared in our stateroom. First things first. This cruise met and exceeded our expectations. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Even though we are big fans of HAL, there is a lot to be said for the convenience of the Freestyle cruise.
NCL does lot of things right. The line seems to have a good understanding of their strengths and doesn't stray too far from them.
