AJ’s Sloth and Monkey sanctuary. We booked this on our own in advance. Shore excursions to these places were longer and more costly. We got transportation and the animal experience for $35 pp. Lots of fun and guide was great.

We choose this cruise because we have always had good luck with Norweign. We choose the transatlantic because neither of us had ever been to any of the Ports of stop and the Value was good. The food was so good and so many options. Best Bacon ever. and their not even Canadian chefs. We can't wait to book again, and we have only been home a week. Entertainment was the best we have ever ...

We were on the 13 Day Transatlantic Cruise on the NCL Jade. Overall, the ship is lovely and has many nice features, and the crew is friendly and keeps the ship in good condition. This was our 15th cruise and 5th transoceanic voyage. Pre-cruise Hotel and transportation: We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott (several Marriot hotels are together in a campus.) Very nice except for lots of warn and ...

We wanted to do a TA and this one fit the timeline. Overall the ship was in very good condition and the staff were great! The entertainment was some of the best we have had of the 17 cruises I’ve been on. The food was very good but the design of the buffet created a great deal of traffic jams. We purchased the spa since we didn’t know how much deck time we would have on a TA. The spa is very odd ...

The cost was the first thing that attracted us to this cruise and then the destination gave us a reason to go to see our son and daughter-in-law, who live in England afterwards. We got an inside cabin and tried to keep expenses down. We did not buy the alcohol package, or spa passes and only bought 1 extra meal at the Teppanyaki. Otherwise we ate at the Grand Pacific dining room, the Alizar ...

To start with, I was apprehensive about the length of this cruise with the first 7 days at sea. I was especially concerned about communications using wifi while at sea (I'm still working, unlike the majority of passengers) and also how rough the waters might be and if I'd feel sick. I never once felt sick (and I've been seasick on cruises before) and the wifi was fantastic. I cruised with my ...

We've just concluded a two week transatlantic on the NCL Jade, and this being our 25th or so cruise on NCL we've always been mystified at the "all over the board" ratings. We've also cruised with at least 8 or 9 other cruise lines as well but since we have status on NCL it's our primary choice. First of all, there is no such thing as a "free" drink package except the high end lines, in case ...

We got a bargain rate for the cruise and had never sailed on Norwegian so we decided to do the cruise, which would take us to London after crossing the Atlantic. All in all, it was a good experience. The embarkation was seamless and we settled in nicely. As soon as we left Miami, we wound up doing a u turn to Ft Lauderdale to let a sick passenger off the ship! The next day instead of ...

From day one our toilet did not flush at all or only once a day. Out of a 13 day cruise our toilet only worked 4 days with no problem. The customer service staff was helpful, when they saw me heading their way they knew what the problem was. The room steward was very rude when we reported the problem to her, she insisted that I did not know how to flush a toilet. We ended up using the hallway ...

We met many people who were using this transatlantic cruise to get to Europe to go onto another destination. Ours was to see Amsterdam. The ships main restaurant was exquisite in art deco style. The wait staff was well trained. However, the menus changed very little from day to day. Le Bistro French restaurant was wonderful - décor, food, wait staff, we ate there 4 times. The Italian ...
