One of the best cruises we've been on so far.

Review for Norwegian Epic to Caribbean - Western

We chose this cruise because we wanted to go away during thanksgiving break from school. We never go aeay during holidays and we wanted to try something different. The ports we went to were new to us aswell. We had a great time. We enjoyed going on excursions. We had a balcony room because they didn't have a window room. We were so happy with the balcony view. It was different, we got to enjoy the ...

Horrible is too good a word to describe cruise.

Chose the Epic because of it's newness and size. The on board process was excellent. That ends the good part of the cruise. First night - Kids running up and down hallways. On top of our state room and on each side. Same pattern most nights. It is ridiculous for families with kids and adults traveling without kids. Complained to NCL personnel . Kept hearing we will take care ...

Who said Transatlantic cruises are boring?

Review for Norwegian Epic to Transatlantic

I was on the Norwegian Epic for 22 days, 12 of those days were at sea. I LOVE at sea. I love being on a trivia team and learning to work with those different from me, I loved the evening entertainment, the daily seminars, the freestyle buffet, the movies, the lectures, the port talks, the dance lessons, the exercise classes, the library, reading, doing crosswords, playing games, sitting and ...

Single cruising will always be my choice!

Review for Norwegian Epic to Transatlantic

This was my first cruise, indeed I chose a reposition cruise for my very first voyage. Ambitious to say the least. I thought I would have a problem with motion sickness, I purchased Dramamine to avoid unpleasant surprises. The second night was a bit rough, I took the Dramamine once before falling asleep and I was fine in the morning. I did not have an issue with it from that point forward. My ...

Not an Epic Failure, but not an Epic success

Review for Norwegian Epic to Europe - All

As Napoleon once sailed off to St Helena, the Norwegian Epic sailed off to exile in Barcelona, far from the American passengers that never appreciated her interesting curves, minimal outdoor access and unique bathrooms. Perhaps the Europeans will be kinder, as she is a French ship, after all. My wife and I had an aft-facing accessible balcony cabin for the 11-day crossing from Miami to ...

Left Miami April 19th. This was my second cruise and my second time on the Epic having taken it from Barcelona to Miami Oct 2014. I had booked early in 2014 but changed my reservation in Jan 2015 for a balcony cabin when they were having a promotion. I didn't really care about the balcony cabin but it turned out less exp"nsive due to the onboard credit included in the promotion - and the ...

Another Great Cruise on the Norwegian Epic

Review for Norwegian Epic to Spain

I was first on the Epic in February of 2014. We loved the "new" NCL so much we went on the Getaway in October of 2014 and we are booked on the Escape in 2015. Needless to say I am saying goodbye to my old friend Princess Cruises (17 cruises) and moving to NCL. Freestyle is my idea of how cruising should be. If you want to dress up, do it but don't expect others to do so. From everything to ...

Rest? Huh!

We booked this cruise because, like many experienced cruisers, we were curious about what a transatlantic cruise would be like. We also felt that this was a chance to experience a mega ship, the sort of ship that would not ordinarily be our choice. We ended up persuading our inlaws to come along. They are less experienced cruisers but to their credit were game for anything. We arrived in Miami ...

Loved our TA to Barcelona

Review for Norwegian Epic to Spain

We chose this cruise for the rest we truly needed. Embarkation in Miami was a bit chaotic as you can imagine 3500 people getting on. The TA itself was very calm and the weather was perfect. We had the Ultimate Dining Package, and made good use of it. We truly enjoyed dining at Cagney's (try the Wagyu Beef Sliders mmm) and Le Bistro (for escargots), Moderno was great and so was Teppanyaki ...

Trans Atlantic from Miami Spring 2015

Review for Norwegian Epic to Mediterranean

The Epic is showing wear and tear. Rust and paint bubbles. Saw several fabric seat cushions with worn edges and stains. Laminated edges of some doors and counters were loose. Although windows were washed in port, there was a dull haze on their surfaces. I believe that most of the passengers on this Atlantic crossing were experienced cruisers. Usually it takes a day or two for passengers to ...
