Gatsby’s is best hangout, but super crowded since it’s the only good nightlife option.

Amazing time on the Dawn

We have the best vacation ever on the March 18th 10 day sailing on the Dawn. Embarkation was a breeze even though there was a huge line up of people, we expecting a long wait, it was pretty smooth. We got to the port at about 12:30 and I think we were on the pool deck by 1:30 at the latest. I went straight to the Garden Cafe for my first meal on the ship. Our room was incredible. We decided to ...

We started cruising on Norwegian over 15 years ago and they are our favorite cruise line. We love the Freestyle cruising and the Dawn did not disappoint us. The ship was very nice in every respect and the crew was terrific. The entertainment was excellent, as well. We only ate in the main dining room and the food was good, sometimes great. If we didn't care for the menu, we used the Grden ...

First of all, We have cruised with NCL before and will do it again, but NOT with the DAWN.. We whare expecting a nice ship that was refurbished some years ago... But I was very disappointed, the overall feeling was that the whole ship was a "cheaper" issue of some of the sister ships... The reason we keep on going back is the freestyle dining, this is a system we enjoy very much, and is the ...

flew to Miami arriving morning of the cruise (7 am). Killed some time at airport as was too early to head to Port. Took a cab to port I believe $24 fixed fare (2 cab as was traveling with mu wife, 5 children and our teenagers friend). Short drive to Port. Porters checked in our luggage. Then waited in a short line (which grew longer) as they had not yet opened the doors to check in. We has arrived ...

This was our first cuise with NCL and it was the best!! We had the easiest & quickest embarkation ever!! Arrived at Miami port @11:30 and waited 1 hour to board the ship. You receive your room card, account setup and picture at the terminal so when you board the ship there is no further delays. Room wasn't ready till 2:00, as advised, so we had lunch at the Venetian Dining Room @1:00 and then ...

I always find these reviews helpful so I feel I should do my share in providing a review as well. We had the most wonderful cruise on the Norwegian Dawn. We picked this cruise mainly because of the Ports of call - many we haven't seen before. I'll elaborate on a few topics below: Dining: We dined mainly in the Venetian. Found the menu to be varied and tasty each night. The only specialty ...

Stayed at Hyatt West for $160, left car there 11 days free, free trans to port for 2, return cost $12. A very nice room, breakfast included. Arrived terminal 11am, check in took 10 minutes, 20 more before ship was ready to board. Beautiful atrium, puwarm reception from friendly crew, rooms ready at 2pm. Our cabin contained: dispensers for hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, no sample razors or ...

Norwegian Dawn Review R/T Miami 02/05 -- 02/15/2012 Background -- We are John and Mary, both in our mid-sixties. We are retired, but workcamp part time in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania for six months and full time RV for the other six months. We love RV'ing, but also enjoy our yearly (or bi-yearly!) cruise. Our philosophy is to go with the flow, we're both low maintenance, easy to ...

Memorable Anniversary Cruise

We had a fantastic cruise, overall beautiful weather, great ports of call, wonderful crew & staff and surprisingly good meals. We took our parents on this cruise for their 50th Anniversary and we were celebrating our 14th Anniversary on Valentines Day. We were worried after some of the reviews but if you're booked on this --don't worry. You're going to have a great time! The only real negative was ...

We just got back from 11 nights on the NCL Dawn. We have been on over thirty cruises and honestly have lost track of the exact number. I booked this cruise in May of 2011 and from the beginning had so many problems with reservations that I was convinced that we would never do another NCL cruise again after this was over. But..........that is no longer the case. This was our third NCL Dawn ...
