Nice common areas on deck - appreciated the stage area in a central spot that was consistent with music and entertainment throughout sea days and in the afternoons as cruisers were returning to the ship.

Norwegian Jewel, Feb 21-28 2009. My ninth cruise, third with NCL. It took something like 15-20 minutes from the time we took our luggage out of the car at the Miami Cruise Terminal until we got to our stateroom. That was the fastest screening, registration and embarkation I've ever seen! We had an interior stateroom, impeccably clean, but I was a little bit disappointed by the furniture. The ...

My LBW (Lovely Blond Wife) Carol and I booked this trip through a group as we had substantial credit from a previous World Cruise with them. (They give a percentage of fare for what they term "Future Cruise Credit) Embarkation from Miami was relatively rapid with one exception. When clearing ticketing, passports, etc. we were given a colored piece of paper and told to go into the next room. It ...

Dave and I had our honeymoon on the Jewel in 2006 and when we saw the itinerary for this spring - we booked a back to back cruise. We boarded in Miami on April 20th - did the Transatlantic and then stayed ...

Although this was our first cruise, and we were expecting a super vacation from the beginning, we were even more thrilled than we had anticipated. This ship is marvelous. The crew was excellent, the food was always good, and more often that not, was absolutely great. Le Bistro was a fantastic dining experience, and even with the additional cover charge, was well worth the experience. Teppenyaki ...

My husband and I have taken a one night Inaugural Voyage on Norwegian Jewel in November, 2005. This was our seventh cruise, and first on NCL. Previously we cruised with Carnival, RCCL, Princess and Celebrity. I have to begin by saying that I had no expectations for this cruise and this was just a way to sample the NCL and decide if we ever want to spend more than one day on their ships. ...
