Not worth your money and time! Never Again!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Escape

We went on this cruise to celebrate my husband's birthday. My son is 15 and my daughter is 13. We thought this was going to be the cruise of a lifetime. Boy were we wrong! There was nothing for them to do besides the Waterpark which was closed half the time because it rained 3 out of the seven days on the cruise. We spent around $500 between the arcade and bingo just to keep them entertained. The ...

Had high hopes for NCL, but I was really underwhelmed. The food was not very good, with the exception being the buffet lunch in the Garden Cafe. Breakfast there was fair. Service was just okay. Egg dishes and bread and rolls were dry and flavorless. Fruit was very good. The food area was clean and well maintained. Lunch offered a lot of very tasty dishes as well as healthy options. Dinner ...

We have taken about 12 cruises through Disney Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean and this was our first cruise with NCL. While there are several things that were good about this cruise, the overall customer support that NCL provides their customers was by far the worst and ruined every good thing. The entertainment on the Escape was very good overall. Choir of Man is amazing. They had a cover band on ...

I went of my first cruise 7 day on the Escape. Worst decision ever, a big ZERO in customer service, it was nothing but problems from the moment we got there. Had to wait 4 hours or more in the hallway for the room to be ready, ordered food to the room and was wrong all three times. It is a big party boat, they advertise huge olypic pools and when you get there it is a 10x20 with no room to ...

Next to impossible to pick a start of where to begin. I will try to hit all key points. The pools were over packed the whole day every day. The children’s pool goes from 5-6 feet deep. How many children out there are that tall other than the very few teens that were in the boat? The food wasn’t bad but some places there was over an hour wait to get food without even getting the natural “ ...

1. The ship was over packed every turn every where every single time at the elevator it was horribly congested and uncomfortable and people were complaining in the elevators 2. Never used the adult pool once since it was over crowded every day all day 3. No night club accept for a bar in the middle of the smoke fest cacsino which is not a night club 4. Boring everything was booked for all ...

If you want to go on vacation to be annoyed and wait in line, then this is the ship for you! We choose this particular cruise due to itinerary (only repeat for was St. Thomas), and that it happened to work out with when we could take vacation time together. Granted, I haven't sailed NCL since the Norway (we have sailed others), but we also never, ever sail them again. Starting with ...

I really wanted to enjoy a trip to 4 different places, 3 of which I had never been to before: Bahamas, Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, and British Virgin Islands. I thought the cruise would be the perfect getaway, allowing me to visit new lands and enjoy pristine beach time, relax and enjoy the sun. Well.... The cruise was extremely boring. Yes, it should be relaxing, but if you have an ...

Worst cruise line, Horrible Service

Cruise Experience I want to start by saying that I know this post will “dub” me as a “Karen” because anyone who isn’t satisfied with subpar service is now called that. I have been going on cruises for 30 years and the last five were through NCL as an adult. My prior four experiences were okay. Not bad, not great. But you get what you pay for, so I always got what I expected. This was our ...

Illusion of luxury. All sales no service

We wanted an escape and we didn’t get that. Instead we received poor service on a overcrowded ship with too many petty and rude crew members offering sub par a la carte services. Some of the highlights my husband and I observed: - only two banks of elevators on this massive ship caused for many traffic jams and delays - no signage on the ship indicating where you are on the ship. Signs ...
