NCL platinum customer who used to love this cruise line. When I first cruised back last year, my experience was extremely poor, and I chalked it up to Covid. I understand there’s a lot to do to get back to business but some thing about this cruise line is wrong now. The ships are too understaffed to give you a good experience. Nothing but lines, cold food and lack of service. Can’t even ...
My cousin went through a travel agent to book this cruise for our family group of 15. My cousins have been on several cruises, but it was a first-time cruise for about half our group, so I had no idea what to expect. I was very excited after watching lots of video walk-throughs of the ship itself, and a lot of people I know personally told me that Norwegian is a great cruise line. We sailed on the ...
Many cruises on NCL. First time in the Haven $8,000.00. I wanted something special. So I saved and thought I was getting the best. The Haven was wonderful. I never stood in lines, was escorted to shows. Restaurant was wonderful, could have had a few more options. Not crowded. Pool not crowded. Chairs for lounging great.
Had a butler, not that friendly. But Room steward was wonderful. ...
This ship was chosen as part of a Casinos at Sea offer - All previous cruises have been on Royal Caribbean.
Biggest disappointment was only one pool available for the majority of guests. Pool decks were extremely crowded. No personal space on pool decks. Loungers were side by side.
Only other options were hot/lukewarm tubs - which in temperatures > 80 degrees - not enticing and also ...
Embarking on a recent voyage aboard the Norwegian Escape, I was eager to explore the luxurious amenities and exceptional service promised by this renowned cruise line. While the overall experience offered a blend of positive and negative aspects, I would like to provide a comprehensive review that highlights both the remarkable features and areas for improvement on this particular journey.

As someone who worked in travel and the cruise industry, Norwegian always stuck out as the best and the innovator in cruising. Years ago, I sailed on the Norway (best ship ever) and the Sunward. This was our first Norwegian cruise in 22 years. We have sailed Royal and Princess several times in the past few years.
We chose to book our own flights and transfers which saved a lot of money but ...
To set the stage- travelling with my husband (52 yrs old), myself (51 years old) and our two daughters (20 & 22 year olds). First time on a cruise ( but we are a family who will travel 1-2 times per year). Our cruise package included the unlimited beverage, 1 specialty dining, $50 excursion credit & 150 minutes per passenger for wifi).
On-boarding - going through x-ray screening fairly ...
The ship's is in great shape and has many top deck activities. I enjoyed the aft top deck where they had a bar, hot tubs and showed movies on a giant screen at night.
The food was average, long wait for average steak at cagneys. The buffet was typical, could always find a seat.
The public decks 678 were always crowded, they held many shows in the atrium as it seems they could have used ...
Pros: Very clean boat and warm, friendly attentive staff. They treat you like gold. Casino is large and fun. In general, the entertainment was good. We saw a great comedian and enjoyed the dueling pianos. Staterooms are nice and comfortable. Great Stirrup Caye and Belize private islands were nice and fun with plenty to do when ported.
Cons: This boat is very crowded. Expect to be jam ...
Went on a family vacay with 19 other family members. Cruise itself was just average, nothing really to write home about. However, was promised a $100 onboard credit from our cruise rep, never came thru. Neither did any of the other credits for the rest of our group *over $1200. Family member who arranged our cruise actually called from the cruise ship to try and get it taken care of, was told by ...
