We chose this cruise for the rest we truly needed. Embarkation in Miami was a bit chaotic as you can imagine 3500 people getting on. The TA itself was very calm and the weather was perfect. The Epic is showing wear and tear. Rust and paint bubbles. Saw several fabric seat cushions with worn edges and stains. Laminated edges of some doors and counters were loose. We've just returned from 22 wonderful days on the Epic. We found the staff exceptionally friendly with many greeting us by name. As advertised, the entertainment is superb. Overall Comment....This was our first cruise and I would give the cruse a solid B+ to A-. The ship was practically new and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. I just got home from my cruise on NCL Epic, and I liked it! As a solo traveler, the studios were a perfect fit for my budget. There was plenty of storage space (once I found the baskets under the bed). Granted, the room is SMALL, but I only use it for sleeping and showering anyway.
