Who said Transatlantic cruises are boring?

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I was on the Norwegian Epic for 22 days, 12 of those days were at sea. I LOVE at sea. I love being on a trivia team and learning to work with those different from me, I loved the evening entertainment, the daily seminars, the freestyle buffet, the movies, the lectures, the port talks, the dance lessons, the exercise classes, the library, reading, doing crosswords, playing games, sitting and ...

Another Great Cruise on the Norwegian Epic

I was first on the Epic in February of 2014. We loved the "new" NCL so much we went on the Getaway in October of 2014 and we are booked on the Escape in 2015. Needless to say I am saying goodbye to my old friend Princess Cruises (17 cruises) and moving to NCL. Freestyle is my idea of how cruising should be. If you want to dress up, do it but don't expect others to do so. From everything to ...

Single cruising will always be my choice!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Epic

This was my first cruise, indeed I chose a reposition cruise for my very first voyage. Ambitious to say the least. I thought I would have a problem with motion sickness, I purchased Dramamine to avoid unpleasant surprises. The second night was a bit rough, I took the Dramamine once before falling asleep and I was fine in the morning. I did not have an issue with it from that point forward. My ...

We booked this cruise because, like many experienced cruisers, we were curious about what a transatlantic cruise would be like. We also felt that this was a chance to experience a mega ship, the sort of ship that would not ordinarily be our choice. We ended up persuading our inlaws to come along. They are less experienced cruisers but to their credit were game for anything. We arrived in Miami ...

What a fantastic cruise. It was wonderful to take this ship on a transatlantic from Miami to Barcelona. The ship was great to do a transatlantic as it is large and has a lot to do a board. During the many days a seat you can take advantage of the alternate restaurants, all the entertainment on board and just visit every nook and cranny. FOOD: I had been on the Norwegian epic a month before ...

My first cruise and it was Epic!!! Loved the shows, food, excursions!! Only thing Ain't would change is the Grand Caymen excursion . Not nearly enough time spent in Hell!! Only given 15 min and that wasn't enough time for everyone to even get checked out of the gift shop!!! The crew onboard were amazing!!! The staff Rommel and Jacal in the Maltings whiskey bar were the best ever!!! We could not ...

This has been our 1st cruise and we just fall in love with it. First of all, the onboard services was great, our cabin steward was always available and always look up to make sure we were confortable and were not missing anything. We are ballroom dancer and we danced in the Atrium to do the sound of the music maker duo and they were very good. NCL should stop waxing the dance floor as it make ...

Had a great time. This was the Epic's last cruise in the Caribbean for a few years. Moving to Spain. This was our 4th cruise on the Epic. We loved every minute. This was our 5th cruise on NCL. 4th on Epic. We are 65+. Know what we want to do on each cruise and find the one for us. We are scheduled for November sailing out of Houston. Sea days for us are all about relaxation. We sleep in. ...

A LARGE SHIP WITH EFFICIENT FRIENDLY STAFF

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I had labeled myself as "not a cruise ship person" until I took this cruise on the NCL Epic. What attracted me was the availability of the Studio Cabin design and a way to avoid the usual single supplement charged by most cruise lines for solo travelers. The studio cabins were very well-appointed and had enough storage space if one utilized space under your bed for luggage, etc. The only issue ...

Transatlantic bliss - Solo!

This was the second time I had the pleasure of the EPIC and the first as a solo. I was much more impressed with the EPIC this time. Loved her the first time, but after having more time onboard, was able to find even better reviews and places and entertainment. The fact I was solo, also meant I discovered the exclusive studio staterooms and lounge. I am only 26. Quite young for a solo cruiser. ...
