Had an awesome vacation on the Bliss. This is our 15th cruise and fourth Norwegian and have cruised with all the major cruise lines. We were on it the last week of march. The boat had lots of kids on board as it was still march break in many areas of the US. I would probably go on one of these ships at times when there would be fewer kids. The entertainment on this ship is top notch. We loved the Jersey Boys it was really well done. Havana has beautiful costumes and singing and it is a much better production show then you see on most cruise lines. We caught all three beatle shows, two in the cavern club-the early years show was really good. The second show there was some technical difficulty and they actually cut the show short. If you want to get a seat you need to be there at least a half hour early as it fills up fast. Their last night show is in the theatre but was at a weird time 7:30. There were plenty of seats for everyone. This show was a combination of the two shows they performed earlier in the week They had two other bands and a duo that played in different locations throughout the ship They also had a couple of deck parties that were really good and one at H20 where we were able to do lots of dancing Most nights there was not enough time to get to all of the different things that were happening. It is a really great ship if you like to be entertained at night. Food. The variety at the buffet for breakfast and lunch was very good. We ate all our dinners at manhatten, savour and taste and only had to wait for a table for five minutes on the last night. The food was good, some nights the menu was harder to select an option. Service was always very good. The observation Lounge was a great place to get snacks from 3 to 5. On some evenings they had Tatiana playing the piano and singing. Sounded like Celine Dion. The Observation Lounge is absolutely beautiful, on a carribean cruise seems like a waste of space as it is huge, but I understand that it has been designed like this for Alaska and will work very well for that. We are in our 50’s and on the older end compared to the bulk of the people on this cruise who were 20-45 years old. The racetrack takes up a lot of space and therefore many of the outdoor spaces are really crowded like the back H20 space would have been nice to have a pool there. Also the main pool area is crazy busy,we always managed to find less crowded areas on the deck above. One of our favourite spots for the daytime away from the busyness was the boardwalk where they have comfy sofas. This was also a great area to go walking instead of the track above the main pool which again is crazy busy. Tortola They have a new port area which was built only a couple of years ago. It’s probably one of the nicest port areas in the Caribbean. We went to garden cane beach. It is 8 dollars each way and they give you a wristband. You have to prepay the return and they told us that they returned on the hour which we found inconvenient. We would have stayed longer but the beach was filled with people from our ship so we left at noon. Normally we would have stayed till at least 1. We had to be back on board by 2:30. It took approximately 20 minutes to get there through the mountains on crazy steep roads. The beach was really nice. Paid 20 for two chairs and an umbrella. It was less busy if you kept walking further in each direction. Nassau We took the Jitney to Bahamar. The number 10. Cost 1.50 per person. We took a cab back for 20. We walked through the Hyatt section first then down to the beach. Right before you get to the beach there are some beautiful flamingos. Walked along the beach and down the pier and up through SLS. It is geared for 20 and 30 somethings. Both properties are beautiful, the Hyatt being more spread out. Glad we did this, it’s something different than going to Atlantis. St thomas One of our favourite islands Went to Meagans bay. 8 dollars there and back. Entry fee is 5 per person. We always go down to the area of the beach on the left. It is much less crowded and you can enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous bay. It is still close to the public bathrooms. Norwegian has done it right not having smoking in the majority of areas on the ship. If you are a smoker this ship is not for you. Things I missed having was an outdoor area to eat at near the buffet Many other ships have large areas where you can eat outside, the Bliss has the covered areas which are beside the pool and that is it. Overall, we found the ship to be a lot of fun. There is a lot of walking to be done, so I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Most days we took the stairs to get our exercise to balance out all the extra calories. Boarding and Leaving the ship were the quickest and smoothest that we had on any cruise. Also, for any Canadians- we booked fairly last minute with Sunwing and flew out the same day. Our package included transfers which were with Norwegian. All went smoothly. I found that Sunwing did not really give a lot of information regarding the transfers. It would have been good to know that it was Norwegian itself that the transfers were with. We had a great cruise, and would cruise this class of ship on Norwegian again. Read Less

We chose the ship because it was the new big ship, it is new and big but very crowded because so much of the ship is taken up with the go cart track and private areas on the main decks. The service from the wait staff of great but customer service is beyond bad, they do not care about any issue you have. We do not complain about anything but the power went out in our room couldn’t get anyone there for several hours. Asked several times if one of the three TVs in the pub could be changed to the ncaa tournament and was told sorry we can’t do that even though everyone in the pub wanted the same thing. The adult area in the back was closed everyday at 530 for a special event, it seems odd that we pay for a cruise and large portions of the ship were private a lot of the time including bars and restaurants, if you are going to allow groups to rent out part of the ship we should have been told before hand because it was everyday. Overall ships have started charging for more and more things that used to be included now they limit where you can go during your vacation. The food was Golden Corral type good everyday. The dining room now allows hats and swim suits, no lobster or decent steak that’s in the past. For a ship this size it’s lacking activities, the pool and hot tubs are packed and there is not a lot of activities around the boat. Read Less

We upgraded our 2 rooms to balcony; NCL put us on different floors quite far from one another. We have 3 kids 10 and 9, so it wasted a lot of time going between the 2 rooms. Our room person was just O.K., did the minimal functions, our kids attendant did better considering our kids were messy and our boy did have a few accidents wetting the bed. As far as the food, the buffet was great, way better than Carnivals. The seating in the buffet restaurant is way better too, with enough space to be comfy in. The main dining restaurant was poor as they actually forgot about us after our apps; we left after 45 min of waiting for the main course. Carnival has Guys restaurant and a Taco type restaurant which we loved both; Bliss did not have these free options, but should in our opinion. Carnival tops the Bliss for kids and us when it comes to entertainment. We went on the go carts once, the kids had to ride with us. The main issues were that the guy you see to get on was giving guests a hard time. He told us that our card was declined and to see customer service, which C.S. said our cards were fine. When we went back he was telling another customer the same story. That customer persisted and eventually the attendant said his card now worked. I don't know why he was doing this but the next day he told us the same thing, we just left and immediately went to laser tag and our card worked fine. Also on the go carts they seem to over control your experience and continually slow down the carts remotely. As far as the night time bands, I know preference is part of it, but Carnivals options were much more palatable to the ears. Carnival seemed much more upbeat at night whereas the Bliss seemed low energy with little to do. The worst part of our cruise was that 6 out of the 7 nights they shut down the spice bar area and stage for a private function. Just so happens we smoke, and that is the smoking area. We were moved upstairs with few ash trays and no bar. It did not seem right that we paid full fare and were not provided with areas we paid for. In all if your a family with kids I would recommend Carnival Cruise Lines, unless you want a real laid back sleepy experience where the vibe is not family oriented. Read Less

New ship just wanted to try it out. Needs bigger & more pools! Needs more options after midnight!!! Also no welcoming music or staff dancing as we entered ship. Not festive at all!!! Our steward was very nice but I needed to ask for ice every day & he put it in a plastic bag that dripped & soaked my beach bag & 3 handbags!!! My husbands luggage didn’t arrive until Tuesday & the staff were helpful to his needs. The announcements should be heard in our rooms so we don’t have to rush to the door to listen. Also the staff in the photo room were very rude. I felt their deals were unfair & the pictures were poor!!! Our crowd of 22 people felt like it wasn’t easy to find specialty restaurants in fact there were a few we never saw! Also all the entertainment is very short!!! Read Less

Truly had the most relaxing and amazing time aboard the Norwegian Bliss. I've done two carnival cruised before, This was my first Norwegian. In my opinion the Blew carnival out of the water. The staff was energetic, polite and personable. The decor was breathtaking. My favorite spot on the Bliss was the "Observation Lounge" it was so peaceful and the veiws of the ocean or ports were breathtaking. The food on the ship was spectacular and never dissapointed. I ate 6 times a day, Haha. The ship also had a lot of entertainment options from games in the atrium, to pool and deck parties. Don't even get me started on the spectacular showing of the Jersey Boys! That cast could have been on Broadway! You could have never left the boat and been completely content with your vacation. As with everything there is always room for improvement. My few complaints would be that the Karaoke had minimal to no good selections. They had nothing from this decade and its like they took the bottom 4 songs off of mediocre albums. And lastly, the manhatten room both times was a bad experience, The first time we tried it the table was not clean, dirty plates were left and they expected us to eat off of them and were rude when asked to switch them out for new ones, Our second experience the waiters brought out wrong foods and never refilled our drinks.ect. he was probably the least frienly crew member we had come accross. To end on positives. The overall vacation was one of the best my family and I have taken. The freestyle cruising was so relaxed and the photographers captured amazing moments. We were celebrating my sisters sweet 16. And the last night managment was surveying in the Savor restraunt. They saw her sash and talked with us very thoroughly about our cruise experience. They asked for our cabin number and surprised her with decorations and a delicious Birthday Cake. We were stunned and feel that we would not receive such thoughtful and amazing treatment aboard any other cruise line. I had such a blast I literally left the ship planning our next cruise with norwegian! Id like to thank the amazing staff and crew for such a well rounded relaxing and amazing experience. Read Less

We have been excited for this cruise since we booked it back in November. This was our honeymoon and had everything we wanted in a cruise ship. We were immediately blown away from our check in. From the time we stepped out of our cab and onto the ship qas a total of 8 minutes. We have had multi hour waits before. The ship is beautiful from top to bottom. Modern and elegant but not over the top. We truly loved the Waterfront feature and that was where we gravitated to every night. All the tasty beverages, with the music but without the crowds. The one detractor from this cruise is the Bliss Theater. The entertainment was not to the caliber in which we expected. The theater is built over top of what we can only figure is one of the dance clubs. The late night performances compete with the pulsating sounds below. We literally could not hear Havana over the party going on downstairs. The food was above expectations and we would suggest Specialty Dining for sure...but our best meals were literally in the Manhattan Room. Spa is amazing...but pricey. Room is good. This is a great mid runner between entry level and luxury cruising. Read Less

Disclaimer: "I am an avid NCL cruise fan and stock holder. I only cruise on NCL as they are the best brand for me with the free-style attitude. I prefer not to have a dining time, and prefer to just do what I want to do when I want to do it. NCL provides that for me, so I stick with that is not broken. This cruise was my 15th cruise on Norwegian and 14th different boat. Yes, I know kind of crazy, but it just worked out that way. I am also going on the Epic in June, and that boat is the only one I've not been on." The Norwegian Bliss was by far my worst experience on an NCL Ship. To put it lightly I hated it. The main reason is that it is way too crowded. The ship is big, and yet too crowded (that tell you something). This is especially true with the buffett area. There really isn't a great outdoors on this ship, which really sucks because that tends to spread people out. You cannot find a table in the buffet area for at least 15 mins. At some points, you see people standing up and eating. A terrible design, just horrible. If you get on this ship, you will be frustrated just as I was. Now I did figure out that the 15th deck (the one with the glass around it FWD) has a small buffet. That tended to be a bit less crowded. I can imagine on the Alaska cruises it won't be as I am sure more people will flock there. The whole go-cart thing is the real reason the boat is so crowded. They decided to build that to look cool, but in the end it took a lot of space they could of used for other things. I think eventually it will burn them. As I mentioned the buffet could be much bigger, and should be much bigger. Not to mention, the same problem goes with beach chairs. You won't get one unless you get there at 6-7:30am. After that forget it, you won't get a chair. This will also frustrate you. I have to say the staff were awesome just as they are on all of the ships I go on. The exception is the guest services people as they sometimes are incompetent. Everybody else is fantastic especially the bartenders. The meals on this ship were not as good as some others. The only good meal I had the entire time was in Cagney's. Everything else was just average or just plain not good. The only thing good in the buffet was the Indian food. Everything else was just average. This is surprising because this is the first time that has happened. Out of 15 cruises on NCL, this was the only time I was real disappointing with the food. I still haven't figured out why they don't open Spice H2O every night as that is the best place on the ship at night. Fresh air dancing, and drinking. Yet they only have it open for one night and half. Makes no sense to me. Other ships had it open most nights. Embarkation and Debarkation were smooth. I am a Platinum Plus member, so my opinion on that isn't really relevant. But I do think NCL is getting better and better with embarkation and debarkation. As I mentioned, I am a NCL fan. I love the brand, but there is no way I will be back on the Bliss. Not a shot in the world. The other boats are much better in just about every way. I would highly recommend doing your research before booking a cruise on the bliss. Read Less

The ship is great...brand new. The ship is huge....4000 passengers. I think I would go for a bit smaller ship next cruise so the pool area wouldn’t be so congested. On our last night we had dinner in The Bistro.....what a fabulous restaurant.....the meals were amazing! We went to Jersey Boys.....first rate show! Seven days is just not enough to experience everything the ship has to offer. The ship has a lot of specialty restaurants.......great meals but more up charges. Unfortunately you don’t get to spend much time at the ports. We went to the Virgin Gorda baths. Awesome experience......fabulous beaches! We did a tour of St. Thomas and Magens Bay Beach. This tour was disappointing......just went to mountain top.....try to get you to spend at the tourist trap......very hurried Read Less

We had all great experiences on the Bliss ! A hugh thankyou to our cabin guy Ramundo Awsome!!!! The food and entertainment was great ! Lots of fun in the atrium! Great shows ! The ship was immaculate! Excursions were a little too short . It would have been nice if the atrium shows could have been shown on the big screen on deck as atrium got crowded. The pool deck screen was underutilized. More stuff could have been shown on it instead of screensaver type stuff. I would definitely take this cruise again staff were very nice . They were all super friendly and went out of their way to take care of us. I think they may want to look into the slide that hangs over the pool side . I got stuck in it and had to climb out the trap door on the side.! Apparently this happens frequently , I was told I wasn’t big enough . I am 5ft 3 and average weight . Read Less

I been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean but Norwegian was by far the very best cruise I been on yet! This is the first cruise that I have had the best food and great service!! As being a picky eater, Norwegian was able to make my eating very easy. I did not require anything specific but all the food choices from the buffet, complimentary dining, to specialty dining was very easy to choose from. I was able to enjoy everything I ate without struggles. On previous cruises, eating was a bit of a struggle and I was really worried I was going to have the same issue on Norwegian. I am so glad I had no issues. People I know always told me that Norwegian has the best food and there is so much to choose from. They were right!! The cabin was small for 4 people but that was expected as they are meant for 2 people. The guy who fixed the room was very nice, friendly, and did a great job making up the room as it was a mess. I was really surprised that he always made the room look brand new, as it was being used by 4 of us. On day 4 I was really cold, called room service, and asked for a extra blanket. Within 5 minutes there was a knock on my door and there was the blanket. I could not believe how fast the blanket came! I was beyond thankful!!! All the shows were great. Saw Havana, The Beatles and the comedy show. I really wanted to see Jersey Boys but the night we were suppose to see them, all 4 of us had gotten very tired and fell asleep early. We are really hoping they will be around once we book our next cruise. All shore excursions were great!! My favorite was the shopping, tour, and beach time at St. Thomas. We were able to go to Magen's beach!! That was the best beach I ever experienced!! My husband and the other couple were just as happy as I was with that beach! The ship was absolutely beautiful!! Loved the go-karts. I have not done go-karts in over 20 years.........until I got on your ship! I thought it was funny and great at the same time that I did the go-karts on your ship! That was a great time! I love how the halls have the fish which makes it easy to know which way we were going. I already told my husband that I want to cruise only with Norwegian from now on! We are hoping to go back on Norwegian in 2021 on the Encore!! Just need to save up and get a great deal as we live on a budget. I want to thank Norwegian for the best cruise we ever been on!! I wish I would of started with Norwegian a long time ago!! Read Less

This was the best buffet we have had on any of our cruises. The evening meals in the dinning rooms were not that great. The room was a little dark. The steak we ordered was tough. Was disappointed with Tortola but the other excursions were very good. The unlimited drink special was a great deal. The embarkation was good but the disembarkation had some confusion with instructions given by the crew members. Will sail again with Norwegian. The shows in the Atrium were very good for the most part. The I Havana and Jersey Boys were very good. The transfers to and from the airport went very smooth. This was our first cruise with Norwegian and will definitely cruise again with them. Can’t wait to go again. Read Less

We did have to wait a long time at Cagney's, they gave us extra drinks to compensate. There is always something to do on ship. We didn't do some activities we wanted to as we were still at another activity. Warning! Don't have beads in your hair if you want to do the waterslide! LOL Actually the only thing that upset me was the smoking area. On the aft sundeck you are squeezed into a small area when they could have made half the deck smoking. The bar could even be on the non-smoking side. I know there will be backlash to the smoking area, but just asking for a little room to move and not having people squished in like sardines in a can. Standouts were the Mongolian Beef, vetable stir fry, and beef with broccoli. Room service- Great turkey sub, my husband liked the supreme pizza. We ordered often. The Local- Great that there is something 24/7. Good pub food, especially the Asian wings. Q- was ok, other restaurants were better. Cagneys-Food was excellent, service was slow. Le Bistro- wonderful meal. I am not really a desert eater, but they were the bomb. Teppaanyaki-Very good. We had great tablemates and a funny chef. Prohibition show- It was ok, but I don’t feel like it worth $36 each. Adults only for sure. Jersey Boys- We really enjoyed this show. It was face paced and the cast was very talented. Siglo band was excellent as was Tatianna. We took the aft elevators whenever possible. We never had to wait for an elevator. We had a great time and would not hesitate to sail her again. Read Less

The Mixx bar right outside of Savor was great, Allen was our favorite bartender. Sugarcanes outside bar is very nice when the ship is moving. St Thomas and Tortola are both very beautiful. Comedian was good, the singer/comedian was funny. One hint though make your show reservations as soon as you get on the ship. In one week they only have 2 shows in the Theater, a 3rd show in the theater was basically a repeat of a short length show that is run in one of the smaller lounges each evening. 3 restaurants with the identical menus. You might consider they would have a different theme dinner in each restaurant - not so. The meals were generally good & in most cases service was good with some exceptions with filling water glasses was poor. It seemed the waiter staff had more tables to serve than normal causing on this cruise not the best service we are familiar with. Our stateroom was small which was located on the 15th floor & happened to be across from a large crew workroom that had carts rolling in & out starting around 7AM & a vacuum running between 7-8AM. On sea days 2 side by side lounge chairs were hard to find around the pool but with 4,000 passengers on board that is to be expected. The pool size for this large cruise ship was very small & on sea days was very crowded. The bar service around the pool we found was good. Could not swim in it. There was always too many people sitting around it to get into it. It was like one big sitting bar. It is 6 feet deep also. This is not good for someone who wants to go I to the water and be able to touch bottom. No shallow end. This ship is not well designed for 4000 plus passengers. We have been on 5 cruises with them. Each one better then the last...Until now!!! Ship was nice, big, plenty of space, never felt over crowded, except at the pool. The staff was not the same friendly staff as as you would expect from Norwegian. At times it felt as if we were bothering them. From little things like a cup of ice at dinner, or the ketchup is empty can we get another. Sometimes we would never see the staff again after we asked for something. Just strange. One of the big complaints I had was, one day at sea, we had our towels on chairs , at the pool, on the upstairs deck, and a staff member came to me and said that he was going to remove our towels because the chairs we had, were not being used? I explained to him that my family was in the pool. He made me call my family from the pool, to come sit in the chairs, so his supervisor could see that I wasn't just saving them for someone. He told me he got a complaint from a guest that the 5 seats were empty for a long time and she wanted a chair. So I guess every time you want to go to the pool, hot tub, bathroom, bar, eat, you must give up your chair? Now everyone know don't come up to the pool at 11am and expect to find a seat. It not going to happen. Then there was the go carts. They advertise a 1 day pass( unlimited rides) for $29.95. When I went to purchases it they told me they were not selling that pass on this cruise? Then why is it advertised on the web site? When I asked The woman she said, just because. Nice answer. She said they sold the weekly pass for $199.95 but they sold out? When my Son and his friends went to ride them that night the were just doing a walk on (No reservation) they got there at 8pm, the staff asked if they had a reservation they said no, they made them wait 40min to ride. NOT ONE PERSON CAME UP THERE TO RIDE WHILE THE 4 OF THEM WAITED. UNREAL. Staff told them reservations come first. There are a few other things but this is getting long. Just beware of this ship if you do go on it.. Ship is good...STAFF NEEDS WORK. Read Less

We chose Norwegian over the other cruise lines because of the "Free-Style" dining concept. You can eat, drink and party anytime you want. We went to Hawaii on the Pride of America and it was spectacular. This trip we were on the Bliss. Brand new. Gargantuan. We always get a balcony and love it. The entertainment always keeps you on the move. Plenty to choose from. Also, the poolside activities are hilarious. We embarked and went to the Sugarcane Mojito Bar. Bob, the "Chocolate Cowboy" made us feel welcome and part of the entire ship family immediately. The experiences just kept going. The main dining rooms were always ready to serve. Never had to wait and never ran out of selections. We never ran across a single negative employee. They always stopped what they were doing to help you if you needed it. They also knew when to leave you alone. Two things that weren't up to our standards were the shore excursions and the final port. We went snorkeling in St. Thomas. It was OK but it didn't hold a candle to the snorkeling in Hawaii. We also went to Balmoral Island beach break. Save your money. We had to walk a long way to a pier through so many vendors and taxi drivers. You can keep Nassau. It seemed dirty and the vendors were unfriendly, rude and seemed like they expected you to spend a lot of money. Our agent said: "Stay on the ship" and she was right. St. Thomas and Tortola were pretty cool. The other down side to our experience was the smoking. Our neighbor, on the first night tried to have a smoke. As soon as he lite it I could smell it. We brought it to the attention of guest services who very promptly addressed the issue. But we were helpless. There were others even though they have a special section for smokers. I only hope Norwegian ( or any other cruise line) comes up with a "non-smokers" cruise. I'll be the first to sign up. Would we go again? ABSOLUTLY!! Read Less

This was our first family cruise. There were 9 people in our party altogether. 6 adults and 3 kids ages 10, 10, & 11. My wife turned 40 in November and one of the other adult women turned 40 just prior. So, we decided on a cruise to celebrate. We chose Norwegian Bliss because we wanted a newer ship and because the reviews for Norwegian were so favorable. We were not disappointed. There was a packed schedule of activities to keep us entertained any time we wanted. Of course these can be participated in at your leisure, so we also had a lot of free time to relax. The staff was utterly amazing. They were all super friendly and accommodating. From the Cruise Director Dan Dan, Assistant Cruise Director Jacky Tang to the folks who led some of the entertainment like Ankica Ivanovich, M&M, Henri, etc. to the extremely nice and caring people who ran the Splash Academy like Speedy, Gummi Bear, Pancake, Tornado, etc. Can't say enough good things about the Splash Academy and the game shows/activities that we and the kids got to participate in. And the Shows!!...Jersey Boys(Thanks to Bonnie and Shelby for the recommendation & performance), Prohibition(Thanks Sarah-Australia & Sarah-Niagara for hanging out with us and bringing me up for the final 'Dance'). Our Steward, Barrington, was amazingly helpful as well. We also saw a few comedy shows(Thanks Allison Weber, Flip Schultz, and Jim McDonald)If I could really dig for something to complain about it would be that the pool area tended to be a bit crowded during the day, but I'd be digging. This was every bit the experience we were looking for. We did three excursions(You must go see Jost Van Dyke in Tortola). We also went snorkeling in St.Thomas and and Everglades Air boat ride when we got back to Miami. I bought my first painting at the Art Auction that was super fun also. We got a balcony cabin. The room and especially the balcony was much bigger than the pics online suggest. Our family of 4 had no issue with all our stuff and hanging out. The food everywhere on the ship was perfect. Embarkation/Debarkation(which I was very worried about) were a snap. No issue, no delays. Bliss was super clean, even in all the public areas/restrooms. Read Less

Did this cruise with a group of 26 people. While the ship was overall beautiful and the food and drinks were great, the price was way too high for what you got. We got the unlimited drink package and the 4 night specialty dining option. While the food and drinks were amazing, the service in 2 of the main dining halls (The Manhattan Room and Taste) were terrible. Took over 2 hours just to get our food and we were seated right when they opened. If you didn't book a reservation for any of the other specialty restaurants or the 3 main dinning halls when you first got on and had to be right when they start boarding, you had to wait to eat a nice dinner at almost 8-9 pm or go eat in the buffet. The one comedy show I was able to see had some very funny comedians and Jersey Boys was awesome but trying to get into these shows was terrible. They put you in a stand by line if you don't have reservations and if people show up 10-15 mins late, they still let these groups in. Wasn't fair in my opinion to those that were there 10-15 mins prior to showtime to get a seat waiting in stand by. Same with the Go-Karts and Laser Tag. The Go-Karts were fun but not worth the extra $10 in my opinion. The staff at the go-kart track was terrible and they let young kids (8-9 yrs old) race that cant even see over the steering wheel, barely reaching the pedals, are not staying over in the right lane so you end up running into them if they can't make the turn. They also get mad if you accidently bump into someone who crashed or cut right in front of you. They also don't even have a standby line for any solo racers so they would let 8 karts go in one and then send out 5 in the next group. Also, you would book a time for 3pm but wouldn't even race until almost and hour later. Also good luck if it rains because if so, they cancel your race without being able to rebook and just give you back your money. Not really fair in my opinion. Both activities they just show you a video and then let you go. Overall the reservation system is total garbage. Outside of those, the Cabin/stateroom is very nice and the staff take very good care of your room and your belongings. Overall, its nice if you just want a getaway but not worth the extra money they nickel and dime you for. Would much rather be back on Carnival next time. Read Less

My spouse and I like NCL and wanted to try out the new ship the Bliss! The ship itself is gorgeous! The observation lounge is well appointed with food options there. The bar staff was great especially the “chocolate cowboy “ in the mojito bar! He greeted every customer by name and knew their drink after waiting on them the first time! The new restaurants were okay. I probably would not choose to eat there again ( Los Lobos and Q) The parties were the same tired songs and dances, it’s like the movie ground hog’s day same old same old!! The DJ only played rock, fist pumping, head banging and Latin music! The night club was filled with intoxicated people spilling their drinks all over the dance floor creating a hazard and lawsuit waiting to happen with s slip and fall!! Another hazard was small children unattended at buffet trying to reach hot food off counter that they are not tall enough to see what is actually on counter!! The game shows were the same from ship to ship with same questions. Get real and someone be original!!!! The comedians were horrible especially the host ... very sad. The photography staff was funnier than the comedians were.. SMH NCL has threre newer ships going to the same tired islands.. St Thomas, Bahamas.... really!!!!! If they insist on going to the Bahamas then please go to NCL’s private island!! Please change your itinerary NCL to include different islands for the newer ships coming out. Go to Aruba!! The ship itself was clean, and nice looking and most staff were friendly and engaging!! The cruise director was friendly, funny and out and about the ship every day!!! NCL needs to change up their itineraries, get a better DJ, change up theme parties and DJ to add all genres to parties and night club scene. Set and enforce drinking on dance floor while fist pumping to the sane music, add better comedians and enforce a minimum age in children to service themselves at buffet area. NCL safety and cleanliness should be your first priority. Lastly the muster drill was a joke. They had about 100 people stuffed in the small space by the cavern bar for this “very important requirement “!! So people did not pay attention at all . Maybe they could have s way for passengers to watch on video and after maybe scan card at beginning and end on presentation in your own cabin. That would help alleviate the mass exit from the drill as a whole in some small places!! Hopefully someone at NCL actually read and move for changes on these beautiful vessels!! On a positive note the race track cars were great but they missed an opportunity to have pics taken on Racetrack!! Money pit the doir!! Read Less

The restaurants served the best food, the staff sprayed your hands with sanitizer to avoid the Nuro virus, all around the ship you can find sanitizer containers. Washy washy everyday. The spa with the sauna, salt room and cold room were refreshing. The shows were very entertaining . The room was comfortable, you learn to move around with someone else in the room. Look all around the room because their is extra space for clothes under the couch. Shopping is available at discounted prices on the ship. The person that took care of our cabin needs was the best, anything that we requested for the room, he ensured that we received it. The specialty dining was the best by far, the greatest. The toilet paper could be softer , the mattress could have been softer, but it is your own opinion whether you like soft or firm. You can request a softer mattress before your cruise. Read Less
