Took my 83 year old father on a cruise. We flew into Miami, stayed at Cambria Blue Lagoon (very nice) and took a $10 pp shuttle to the port. This was my 6th cruise on Royal Caribbean. A group of 10 of us sailed out of Miami. I sailed on Oasis in June 2018 and while I am not in any way comparing the ships, Navigator just looked tired. It was an affordable vacation on Spring Break as a family. Navigator of the Seas was a decent ship. It was not that modern. You could tell it was refurbished at some point. The decor was inviting, a little above average. The room was as expected, same decor and size as most ships.

My wife and I originally planned to go by ourselves for a 10th anniversary cruise. Our honeymoon was taken on Freedom of the Seas back in 2008. However our childcare fell through and we had to rebook with 3 children ages 5, 2, and 7m.
