7th cruise we've been on and 1st with MSC. The other cruises we were on (HAL, NCL, RC and celebrity) were very enjoyable experiences but this cruise has put me off. Obviously never cruising with MSC again, but it may be a while before we cruise again after this experience. - Check in person took 30mins to sort out our room keys and we still couldn't get on the ship and had to wait with ...

Great First Experience With MSC

This was a solo cruise I chose primarily because MSC did not charge a supplement for cruising solo. The cruise was excellent and probably in the top 3 of 20 cruises taken in the last 35 years. There were less than 500 passengers on board a ship that holds 4500+, so it was like having a semi private cruise. The ship is beautiful and I found the food, entertainment and service comparable to or ...

Ghostly cruise

There were only 482 passengers on a ship that holds 5300, so most times it felt like you were on a ghost ship. We were required to undergo a covid test at the port as well as having one done prior to the cruise. The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly. Covid protocols were strictly here’d to including masks and daily temperature checks. Food on msc is fair at best. A lot of repeat dishes, ...

New Years in Meraviglia Yacht Club

This is our second cruise on the MSC Meraviglia. The last time we had the pleasure sailing on her was New Years 2019/20, just before COVID. We had a fantastic experience back then and loved all the open spaces, fun entertainment and delicious food. This time we were lucky enough to sail in the Yacht Club and wow, what a wonderful experience that was. The dedicated arrival area made ...

We choose this cruise for the price and the lack of passengers! There were more crew than PAXS. We stayed in a Grand Suite/with the Aurea package, you can review this room on youtube Room 12007. Have all your documents ready and printed out, when we checked in it took about 10-15 mins and we were on the SHIP! It did get breezy at times, but it was not terribly bad, room is a bit ...

F&B department is catastrophic

In a nutshell: If you value service or food, avoid MSC. Food quality is horrible. Fullstop. Not even burgers and Hot Dogs they get right. I am from Europe, living in the US.This food is by no European or American standards acceptable for a major cruise line. Service in the main Restaurants and buffets varies, but is generally very friendly and attentive. The Bars are another story, I almost ...

We choose this line because we wanted a new experience and we are glad we did. I will list the pros and cons in my experiences. covid precautions: the best i have seen and have recently been on RCl, Carnival and now MSC. Compliance with mask wearing by all guest about 90% of the time. No loud complaints from guests having to mask up. Social distancing in theater by staff including exiting ...

Notes from the Dec 5-9 Cruise on the MSC Meraviglia from Port Canaveral First of all, it’s pronounced with a silent G, sort of like lasagna has a silent g. Ocean Cay • The Lobster Roll truck is on the trail to the North Island. It has hot French fries and coleslaw for $12.95. • Starboard cabins give you a view of the Lighthouse light show. • Port cabins are in the sun, ...
