This was my first cruise on MSC, so I wasn't sure what to expect especially since their website is not user friendly and very slow. I was pleasantly surprised though! I was booked on this cruise plus the 2/24/20 sailing as a B2B. Embarkation was fast and efficient. I was on board by 12PM. I started exploring the ship and made my way to Deck 11 for lunch. The
Buffet was crowded, but I joined a ...
MSC Armonia review
Each person that cruises will have their own set of criteria for evaluating a cruise. Complaints by some are rejected by others. I accept that. Having been fortunate enough to have traveled on many cruises across several cruise lines, I will do my best to be objective.
Overall MSC is a very successful company for cargo transport that has expanded into the passenger cruise ...
I knew going in that this "last minute" deal, on this ship likely was not going to be the best cruise I'd ever been on. The old saying "you get what you pay for" held true in this instance. The cruise did give me some sun and relaxation at a low price which is what I signed up for, and it included a very pleasant surprise in MCS' private island. I wish, I had another day to relax on that ...
My husband found this cruise on Travelocity at a very good price. We have been on 13 cruises but never with MSC. At such a great price, we thought we would give it a try. Boarding the ship in Miami was a breeze. Embarkation was swift and orderly even though the staff wasn't exactly the friendliest. This should have been our first sign of things to come.
Once on board, we noted how dated ...
Went because it was a god deal. We had drink package and freeWiFi. Food was good BUT service for breakfast and lunch not so good, staff was nice but slow and food not hot or what you ordered at times. If you ordered eggs they toast would come out either first or 20 mins after your eggs. dinner staff and food good, still nothing really as hot as it should be.
Entertainment ok not great the ...
First because it was scheduled to go to Cuba but that changed and we couldn't go to Cuba.
Another reason was the cost, it was a reasonable cost for 7 days.
Our first excursion was on Jamaica at Ocho Rios and was a fiasco. The disorganization to get our packages for the tender etc was terrible. We had to assemble in the theater and wait for our number to be called to collect our package and ...
This was my first MSC cruise. I have been on quite a few cruises on a variety of cruise lines. Cruising is my favorite way to vacation. That being said, the cruise on the MSC ammonia was not a great experience. The variety of food choices was poor in the buffet area and dinners in the “Nice” dining area were below average.
The staff on every cruise I have ever been on has been exemplary, but ...
This was my 3rd cruise experience (previously cruised with Princess & Carnival- exceptional experiences with both). Incredibly disappointed with MSC with a few positives, which is unusual as I am a very easy going person, especially on vacation! We did all our own shore excursions as many were cheaper and provided better amenities.
PROs: Entertainment staff is amazing- hilarious and fun to be ...
No comedy shows, Never been to the cruise ship doesn’t have comedy shows. cafeteria level of food at the main buffet. There is no soup in buffet. Food is so so in dining room.Too smoky due to smokers even inside the shop. Liked itinerary but the time at the every port was too short not enough time to explore the port or shopping. Crew Staff will give 10 stars for their quality service. Walking ...
We chose this cruise because the price was very attractive, but buyer beware - they charge for absolutely everything on the cruise. Over the course of a week, it really adds up;, and we do not drink much or gamble. The biggest problem in every department was a lock of training, both in how to do the job and in what the job really is. There is absolutely no emphasis on friendliness or service, ...
