Disappointing

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

We picked this specific itinerary, and because Celebrity does not do a FULL transit, in the winter. We did do a Princess Cruise in 2020 but did not like it at all. Having not sailed with NCL since 2018 (previously 6 cruises), (we did 3 Celebrity, and 1 Princess in between), we definitely noticed the cut-backs, and the nickel and diming that NCL has been accused of. Embarkation was a ...

Unfortunately the cruise enjoyment was significantly impeded by the room we were assigned

The cruise had an interesting itinerary and we wanted to traverse the Panama Canal- this was definitely the highlight of the cruise. The tours offered were quite ordinary and in my opinion overpriced. The regular restaurants offered excellent food and very good service. We did enjoy the specialty restaurant The Bistro but did not think the other specialty restaurants available were worth the ...

Cruising with Covid the good, the bad and the ugly.

Having not cruised for almost 2 years we decided to book 2 cruises for the last part of 2021. The first cruise on the celebrity Apex from Athens to Miami went well. We had to wear masks most of the time and tours were mostly on Celebrity controlled tours. All passengers and crew were vaccinated, and they tested us several times during the cruise. The ship made all the schedule ports, and the ...

Fell far short of their reputation and our past experience.

This was the maiden voyage for this crew following the long Covid-induced hiatus and it was clear to us that this ship and crew was not ready. BIg things and small were problematic. We can start with our return flights which were changed without consultation or notification. I discovered the change when I reviewed the embarkation package. Then Oceania insisted that it was a schedule change ...

Carnival Miracle Still needs work out of Dry Dock

We chose a aft balcony to come through the canal, hoping to enjoy the many sea days on the balcony and de-stress, relax and enjoy the break of the daily work grind. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! We had oil droplets spewing from the funnel each and every day and these oil drops were landing on us, destroying our clothes, and not able to sit out without enjoying a daily spray of oil. Our room Stewart was ...

Who designed these ships

Whoever designed these ships most have been on some drugs. When you hold all your games and talks in the Atrium, which has future cruises, guest services and and tours, you are asking for trouble. You have to yell at the person you are talking to. For a show in the Atrium, they put out folding chairs, pay all that money to sit in a folding chair. They have a very nice theater which is ...

Worst cruise with NCL ever

This was our fourth cruise with NCl. We felt dedicated to sail with them again. But our room was changed from the 10th deck to the 9th deck with notification. Our friends asked for a room the the 10th deck so we would be on the same deck, which didn't happen. Fire drill was held in the dining room and we were not checked in properly. Received a nasty letter saying we had violated the rules. ...

2/15/19 - 3/1/19 NCL Star Panama Canal Voyage Top screw ups 1. Free internet, ha ha, ha, 250 minute perk what doesn’t work properly or frequently; isn’t free or useful. Waits at Internet cafe could be as much as 60 minutes. 2. Cable/internet stations FOX, MSNBC, BBC, were very frequently not available as is the case right now as I write this, Thursday, 2/28/19 beginning at 6:40 AM and ...
