Excellent Cruise

Overall a fantastic cruise with very good itinerary. We stayed in Pullman Hotel outstanding Miami airport the night pre cruise. The hotel has a free shuttle from airport to hotel and a $30 shuttle to the port which was great. The ship was brilliant and very Marc large which was good for not too many people in the same place at the same time. We did have one day when the weather wasn’t very good so ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Crystal Serenity

The ambience of the ship was excellent. Service, entertainment, activities during the day all outstanding. We upgraded to a suite which was well worth it. Our butler was first rate. Enjoyed the lectures, the photo classes, and the golf clinics. Food was fine in the Main dining room but the real stars were the Japanese restaurant and Taste for dinner. Not to be missed. No casino which was fine ...

Solo on a Caribbean cruise onboard Crystal Serenity

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Crystal Serenity

Once upon a time… I have decided to start my review with that sentence because the Crystal Serenity used to be part of a company called Crystal Cruises which was owned by Genting (a Malaysian Company). Crystal cruises ceased operations as a consequence of the financial difficulties from Genting and entered in a process of liquidation in which the ships and assets were sold to different ...

I would recommend this ship for primarily adults. Not enough activities for children. However the service was excellent. This ship isn't that big, but it is comfortable. The fitness room had updated equipment for those who like to work out, while on vacation. They didn't have updated weights, but they did have cable machines. They had most of the common used machines you would find in the gym. ...

We chose this ship for the itinerary. The Caribbean, Panama Canal, and Alaska were booked back to back to back for 31 days, same cabin. It was fantastic. The staff were so wonderful. Everyone made every effort to ensure we had a great time, and that we got everything we needed. Our room steward was always there to take care of everything with the cabin as well as keep us up to date on ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Encore

This was the second of back to back cruises I did on the Encore. It was wonderful to have the same cabin for both cruises and not have to move or go off the ship to check back in. I must admit, 28 days on a cruise ship is a bit much, but I had a wonderful time. On this second cruise, it was nice because there were a lot less people on board. I heard that there were only 1900 or so at ...

The Crew Makes the Cruise

The ship is huge and beautiful with so much to do that in a 16 day cruise, there were still areas of the ship we just never spent considerable time in. Due to Covid, this cruise sailed well below passenger capacity. For that reason, we felt like we had the run of the ship. The only area that was fully booked, was the Haven. The crew was fantastic, in all areas. This includes the deck crew who ...

This was our 10th cruise on NCL and the Panama Canal cruise was on our bucket list. We had the same cruise scheduled for 2021 but it was cancelled due to COVID. We were excited when NCL started sailing again but became worried when the Omicron wave hit Fortunately our cruise was not cancelled. We would have been devastated. NCL's health and safety protocols were outstanding. We tested at the ...

The cruise itself was like many others. And a good time was had by all. I’m writing because of the amazing staff,..... When we were caught up in the coronavirus scare. When it was realised we had to find somewhere else to dock because we could not get back to san francisco, the guest services dept and rest of crew rearranged transport for everybody from san pedro , worked all night to get ...

Chose because we wanted to navigate the canal early in the year when the weather is perfect..Could have been any cruise line! Negative points are embarking and disembarking both very long lines and close to 2 hours. New NCL terminal though looks nearly ready in Miami though. Had a mini suite because not much more expensive than standard balcony. First experience when we walked into our room and ...
