Excellent Cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Sirena

This is my review of the Oceania cruise on the Sirena ship from Miami to the Canary Islands that lasted 2 weeks from 27 March to 10 April 2024. The food for all 3 meals plus afternoon tea, service, both cabin, reception and dining, and entertainment were excellent. In particular, the cruise director, Leslie Howard, was fantastic. The ship was in great shape; it was very well maintained. It ...

New to Seabourn but not to cruise travel

DW and I have been on dozens of cruises over the past 40+ years and now that we are retired and blessed to afford more luxury travel options, we have started trying out the luxury cruise lines starting with Seabourn. We booked the Quest transatlantic crossing from Miami to Las Palmas sailing on March 24. We booked with our preferred travel agent into a Verandah Suite and in December we accepted ...

Won't do it again

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Sirena

The cruise staff was very very nice. That's the only positive thing. The cruise was attended by emptying 3 or 4 retirement old folk home. Maybe, 10 people under 70 and there were many people were on walkers and wheelchairs. In addition, the very few activities were canceled when a gastro infection was taking people down. No daily lively entertainment. This cruise is for recovering from a ...

Oceania Sirena - Miami to Panama City - March 7-17 2024 This was my third cruise with Oceania. The first was the Eastern Mediterranean in 2009, the second was Northern Europe in 2012. I really enjoyed those two cruises; this one, not so much. Based on my experiences on this cruise, it's unlikely I will take a 4th cruise with Oceania. Let's start with the good. The food was excellent. I did ...

A cruise to be forgotten

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Sirena

We are long time Oceania customers (7 cruises) but had to cancel our last two cruises because of COVID and health issues. Therefore we were looking forward to our back to back cruises with a line that had always met or exceeded our expectations. Things got off on the wrong foot when the company changed their business style. They went to Simply More. Before we were given onboard credit to be ...

Worst cruise ever!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Sirena

This cruise left out of Miami and ended 10 hellish days later in Panama City. We started out with rough seas by the second day, not Oceanias fault, so we missed our first stop. We had already been notified that our Columbia stop had been canceled. The. Cruise line never offered any compensation for these two cancelations. Then around day four we noticed that their sanitation procedures were ...

This was our first Regent cruise and it lived up to all our expectations and more..... From the moment we stepped on board we knew it was going to be Special. A bottle of champagne on ice and a beautiful white orchid on the table awaited us in our cabin. The attention to detail with the ships decor was exceptional. Beautiful fresh flower arrangements were in all the Public areas and ...

Destination Services needs some work

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Splendor

Seven Seas Splendor is a newer ship with a lot of good facilities, food and staff, however the destination services staff had a lot of issues on our cruise. First, they had no personality and when you went to their desk they gave the attitude they could care less. They also messed up the tour ticket distribution for about 1/2 the tickets on the second part of our cruise. They also provided no ...

We echo the sentiments of many other cruisers who cruised Regent prior to the pandemic: it is simply NOT the same experience. You could summarize by saying that it’s uneven at best. Here is why: PROS: best cabin experience ever…level E cabin. Super comfy bed facing window, tons of storage, spacious bathroom, wonderful lighting and sizeable balcony. Cabin attendants attentive and professional ...

The best service and dining possible. Everyone helpful and cordial. Everything organized perfectly. If you want a nice mature group of passengers that are well traveled, respectful of one another, are friendly and courteous, this is the place to be. If you want roller coasters, rock climbing and blearing rock music all day, maybe not. All restaurants are wonderful. The open air seating ...
