Embarkation:
We arrived at port about 10:30 and was on the ship by noon. I traveled with three daughters my grand daughter and a son in law. Our staterooms were not to be ready until 1:30, so we headed for luch at the Windjammer. I have to say we got a tabel right off, I heard a lot about people not being able to find a place to sit, but that did not happen at all for us!! But I was not ...
I will start by saying this was probably the best cruise we have been on so far. We are Platinum members with Royal Caribbean (8 cruises) I am a travel agent.
Check In: Because we are platinum members and staying in a suite(JS), we got to go to the special line. So, I'm not kidding, about 10 mins is all it took us to get from door to ship. The lady that checked us in was Super friendly and quick ...
This was our fifth cruise aboard RCCL. We are now Platinum status. I can only say what a ship. LOS was by far the best of the ships we have sailed on with RCCL.
We flew down to Fort Lauderdale the day before. We always do this to take the stress out of worrying about making the ship. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Fort Lauderale. Got a great AAA rate. The hotel was clean and ...
This was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean and Liberty of the Seas. Cruising was my Husband and my two boys ages 7 and 10 years old and and another couple who have 4 kids ages 5,7,10, and 14. So we pretty much can answer most questions about youth activities.
We live only an hour away from Port Everglades so arrival was easy ( we got to the port around 12pm), its right behind Bayside and the ...
Liberty of the seas Back to Back June 20 - July 4, 2010
We are a family of four (40s adults and teens 11,14) and stayed both weeks in JS/D1 1706/1704. We have cruised previously with Royal Caribbean on Serenade of the Seas.
Bottom line at the top: Wonderful ship, staff, food, excursions, and activities for all. A few things could be tweaked a bit (read on).
Embarkation: Took a ...
As cruising novices, and having spent the last few vacations in 5-start luxury Dubai hotels, we were very wary about cruising but thought we would give it a try. We were NOT disappointed! You cannot believe the impression of size and elegance when you are standing at the glass walkway, leading to the Royal Promenade or on the top level of the main dining room, looking down to the levels below with ...
We just completed a set of back-to-back cruises on Liberty OTS, it being our fourth set of back-to-back cruises on Royal Caribbean. We did Western then Eastern Caribbean. Much has already been written about the ports so I'll confine my comments here to our experiences onboard. We are Diamond members closing in on Diamond Plus status and are a couple in our fifties and early sixties, travelling ...
This is the eleventh cruise we have taken but the first on Royal Caribbean. The Liberty of the Seas is a beautiful, very well maintained ship. The staff could not be any nicer. They are not only efficient they are very personable. Can not believe how they remember your name!!! We had any time dining and it worked out great. Never waited more than a couple of minutes. Most nights sat at the same ...
This was our second time on Liberty of the Seas. We have been on two Carnival cruises since our last time on this ship, and what a disappointment they were!! This cruise was such a welcome return. Embarkation was a breeze, we arrived at the pier about 11:30, and we were on board eating in the Windjammer before 12:30. No problems at all. I definitely recommend travelling a day earlier and getting ...
I'm a Diamond Club Member and a veteran of many cruses on RCCL, Disney and NCL and over the years RCCL has seemed to be a good value. However the constant cutbacks at RCCL have brought me to the point that I won't be taking many RCCL cruises in the future. The elimination the mints from the pillows at night and the elimination of Lobster night was only the beginning of the cutbacks.
