Royal Caribbean to Bahamas

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

I went on this cruise with my boyfriend as a spur of the moment vacataion. This was my very first time on a cruise ship and my first time out of the country. I had such a great time on this cruise and was disappointed when we had to return. The ship itself was exciting. Everyday there was a party. Even though I was a bit nervous, I had a great time. While on the ship, we attend an art auction ...

Transfers I made the mistake of purchasing airport to cruise port transfers via Royal Caribbean before making my hotel reservations. It would have been much easier for me to use the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Hotel’s shuttle service. In addition, the wait for the Royal Caribbean shuttle was far too lengthy. It would make much more sense if they had smaller vehicles that made more ...

All in all a nice week

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We parked at Premier Parking USA, it was $67.00 for the week. When we arrived there was a line of about thirty people with luggage standing in the sun and there seemed to be no one in charge. However, within a few minutes three additional vans pulled in and we were loaded and quickly arrived at the port. This company does like for you to get off the ship early when you return and they were a ...

I am a long time cruiser and i am only 17 at this time, i have been on 16 cruises and will be going on my 17Th cruise in upcoming February so i know what i'm talking about when i say WOW. We started out by breezing past check-in when we got to the cruise terminal....i was surprised by how fast it went with there being so many people. We breezed onto the ship and to our room but it really sucked ...

Once aboard...it was GREAT!!!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

Embarkation:It was a rough start. We got through security and received our boarding passes pretty quickly. Then they put us into a "holding pen" for over 3.5 hours. I guess we were due because after seven cruises this was the worst embarkation by far. In the end, the ship did apologize via the PA system but as part of the apology they highlighted the fact that the delay was beyond their control ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

I found the Liberty to be a very elegant ship. The Promenade deck was interesting. However, there were never enough seats for the large crowds that poured into the area after the last Headliner shows. Our group of eight were going to the library or t the card room to congregate. Why would you not have rooms for special occasions instead of using the card room and then not clean it after it's use. ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We sailed on Liberty of the Seas in April 2011 from Miami to Barcelona, with stops in Nassau, Tenerife, Cadiz (for Seville), Malaga and Valencia. The itinerary was very good and we were not bored at all with 7 days on the Atlantic between Nassau and Tenerife. I would do another transatlantic crossing based on this experience. We were fortunate that the ocean was very smooth the entire crossing. ...

Fantastic Family Cruise - Great Staff, Great Service

I just returned with my family on Liberty of the Seas from the 6-night Western Caribbean itinerary. It was a great trip and the ship and staff exceeded expectations across the board. My wife has cruised several times and I had been on one other cruise but we (two daughters 3 & 8) have never taken a family cruise before and this was our first experience with RCCI. This turned into a long review ...

My husband and I recently got back from our first cruise: Royal Caribbean - Liberty of the Seas Eastern Caribbean on March 19, 2011 (8 days). We purchased the cruise through Costco Travel and received a nice onboard credit. We had 4 stops in St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, and Labadee, Haiti (RC private port in Haiti). Since this was a first cruise for us both, we really didn't know what to ...

A relaxing time on a beautiful ship

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

The Liberty of the Seas is the largest ship we have cruised on. The ship is beautiful, clean and never felt too crowded. We arrived in Miami the night before and stayed at the Marriott Airport hotel, a convenient stay. A good dinner in the sports bar at the adjacent property right next door. The next morning we took a $24 cab to the port, arriving about 10:45. Still tons of people milling about ...
