My wife and I took this as a "makeup" cruise for our 5 year anniversary, which was supposed to be a week aboard the Encore back in January. Unfortunately we got COVID three days before embarkation. Long story short, we were able to squeeze this shorter cruise aboard the Sky. We are first time cruisers, so keep in mind this review comes from someone who has not seen all the bells and whistles of ...
My husband and I were looking for a cruise to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary. We had done several cruises with Royal Caribbean and were looking to go on another cruise. We were interested in trying a Norwegian and were excited to sail to four new islands we had never traveled to; Dominican Republic, Stirrup Cay, St. Thomas, and my bucket list island, Tortola with 2 days at sea. Two ...
It was truly a terrible cruise. They should rename the Disney Dream to the Disney nightmare. From cold and half delivered food to terrible service (22 minute wait for a Diet Coke at dinner is not acceptable with no buffet alternative), the Disney details were extremely lacking. Castaway Cay was beautiful and the two shows were good but overall entertainment could be spruced up besides movies and ...

Off to a challenging start. IT problems. Many room keys not working even after being reprogrammed. Drinks package not working on some cards. Lines for guest services backed up for hours. Some key cards needed to be reprogrammed 3 times or more. Some guests not linked with credit card of primary guest even though we checked in online and imputed all this information. It was a ...
We chose this cruise for the ports, the dates, and the Haven Suites experience. The cruise staff at the restaurants and bars and cabin steward were outstanding, especially those working in the Haven lounge & dining. The food served in the Haven was outstanding.
We booked the Haven Spa Suite expecting a superior more deluxe experience. The first couple of days met and exceeded our ...
I cruised the Breakaway for a week going to Hondurus, Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya and Harvest Caye. The ship was amazing, very clean and everything was beautiful. I had a room in the Haven and that was spectacular. Our Butler Romel was the absolute best one we could have. He was attentive, kind and brought us the most amazing snacks. He was there in minutes when we needed anything at all and we ...
orwegian provided a nice room with great service, and the staff were very friendly throughout the ship. We especially liked Allen in the Cigar Lounge area. Specialty restaurants were excellent, and the loyalty program gave us lots of great perks at Platinum level. A few main disappointments though: (1) Having dinner in the regular dining rooms took forever. Not sure why there is a huge break ...
We chose this cruise because we liked the itinerary and we wanted to play pool in the evenings. We were shocked when we went to play pool and the raised the price from $2 a rack to a whopping $3.50 a rack. We decided to get gouged and play anyway. The pool table malfunctioned the whole time and we gave up.
This is a large ship and was completely full on our sailing. The pool is tiny and ...
We had an amazing time on the Conquest. This was our first experience on a cruise. The food was amazing in The Steak House was absolutely lovely very elegant type of set up. I had the crab risotto for my appetizer, the surf an turf was so delicious the lobster an steak was cooked to perfection. The staff made us feel like we were royalty. I would like to thank one staff in particular, housekeeping ...
Here’s my review of our cruise on Explorer. We sailed from Miami (Terminal G) from July 3-9.
Fast facts:
• We stayed in an Owner’s Suite (cabin 1292 on Deck 10).
• This was our 4th RC cruise: 2 on Symphony, 1 on Brilliance, then this. We went from Platinum to Emerald on this cruise, and will go to Diamond after our planned November cruise on Symphony.
• We’re empty-nesters, so no ...
