Good choice for a weekend party cruise and basking in the sun

this cruise was chosen by someone else as a mother daughter cruise and it was fine for the party purposes and getting a group of people together. Getting on and off the ship was fine. OUr cabin was old and worn but a great size and balcony was roomy as well. ship seems loud on pool deck , you could find a quiet area but not near the pool. bands were loud and located in the center areas ...

Staff was not very helpful when asking a question. Many times once they realized you were not purchasing one of the add on products the staff would simply walk away. Communication while on board the ship was lacking, confusing and not very accurate when you did receive some communications. Just did not appear the crew knew what was going on around the ship. Also did not appear to have a ...

Lacking Finesse

We found this cruise to be somewhat disappointing. The ship itself is very dated, rusty and wood trim scaling. The cabin furnishings are dated, worn and chipped. The staff was dismissive at times, especially if you declined the "upcharges." Some staff members wouldn't even respond when spoken to or acknowledge your request. Casino needs better ventilation, smoke smell was horrendous! The food was ...

We chose this cruise for a family vacation. We took a group of 11 ranging in age from 3 to 50. We chose this ship because it was a 3-day cruise. This was a factor because our children had never sailed before, and we weren't sure if they would get sea-sick. Our children enjoyed themselves. They enjoyed everything from the activities to entertainment, but they hated the beds. But, as people who have ...

I've cruised 5 times. 4 on RC. Its lost its magic. Staff constantly talking about rating on surveys, obviously worried about losing their jobs. Pushing staff too hard on these. As a Crown and anchor Gold member, I expect to feel a little more special. Nothing on this trip, not even a welcome back... Not coupons, savings, additional services, etc. This ship needs another overhaul or selling. The ...

We had an overall pleasant experience on the Enchantment of the Sea. This was our 4th cruise and we were excited to return to Royal Carribean as we previously felt it was our favorite. The postitves of the cruise were our stateroom attendent who was always very friendly and willing to help. We also enjoyed the waitstaff in the main dining room. We were very disappointed by the food in the Main ...

I chose this cruise as a birthday present for my girlfriend. Embarkation went well as did the first night... The food was ok I guess, we were very hungry so I didn't complain much. The second day we started with breakfast in the main dining room and service was slow as hell, three couple's that arrived after we ordered got our food before we did. When we got back to our room I was impressed that ...

Not up to my expectations

We spent more money thinking that we get a better experience on Royal Caribbean especially their infant in room baby sitting services. When we boarded, we learnt there is no trained staff available for that cruise. The main dining room menu is very limited and the dishes we tried are not so tasty. We got bored of the food on the third day as the menu was pretty much same all the three days. The ...

Fun Times with Friends

Joined a group of friends who had already booked. We are partial to the Enchantment because we were married 11 years ago on this ship. After sailing a few larger ships and a Mega-ship, I much prefer the smaller crowds and short lines on the smaller ships. I will definitely sail Enchantment again - as long as we go with a group of people, the lack of activities available onboard really doesn't ...

5 day on the RCL Enchantment

We choose this cruise for its Monday through Friday dates that worked with our schedule. I did read the review prior to making plans, so I do agree with most of the previous review in regards to food, and the ship is older. The ship is smaller and outdated of which I hope RCL does pay attention and make plans to revisit their smaller older ships with make-overs. With a smaller ship, you do get ...
