The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Great Ship For First Time Cruisers

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

If your a first time cruiser this is the perfect ship to start off on. Even though it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the newer ships it makes up for it in heart. The staff and crew were excellent and you can tell they truly love what they do! You feel like family by the end of your trip. I don't really think that I have many complaints. Security was ON POINT. Rooms were small but you ...

Such a great experience

My boyfriend and I chose to travel on the Enchantment of the Seas for a graduation celebration because of its affordability and location (Bahamas & Key West). We stayed in an Outside room (porthole with ocean view) in the third deck and it was great. I was worried about possible sea sickness, but I felt nothing in our room and barely any nausea throughout the ship. We chose to do the My Time ...

Sad Cruise

The program they sent around each day was incorrect plus there was miscommunication with the staff and Miss misinformation. I didn't feel there was enough in entertainment or the type of entertainment I was used to on cruise ships I didn't see anything on shows that I liked there are music tributes but that's not what I go on a cruise for the movies that was shown on the big screen over the pool ...

We cruise with RC all the time so much so that we are almost at Diamond Status. So it kills me to say this but we had a terrible time on Enchantment of Seas. We stayed in room 3599. Unbeknownst to us this was directly below the Centrum. We heard EVERY party thru our ceiling every night ALL night. So got zero sleep. Our room did not have a fridge which we needed because husband has meds that need ...

My husband and I went straight from the airport to the ship. Once on the ship, we had a great time all the way through. The ocean view room we has was great and well maintained throughout our stay, often being cleaned several times daily. The food was so far above my expectations that I truly felt like it was some of the best food that I've eaten, as a self proclaimed foodie. There was always ...

Fantastic weekend getaway

I was on this cruise 2 months ago for another short weekend and then we booked this one again with some friends who have never cruised before. Even though I'm used to the larger Freedom-class and Oasis-class ships, we loved everything about this one as it's perfect for a weekend getaway and it was even better as an introductory cruise for first timers. I love Coco Cay and the new additions they ...

Just not enough staff to take care of its cruisers.

My travel agent booked it. We had never sailed on Royal Caribbean and want to see what it was like compared to our other experiences. Rooms were nice and the staff tried so hard to accommodate you but there wasn't enough of them to go around. Trying to get a beverage at pool was tough. My husband had to get up and get them or wait a long time before someone could get to you. Ordered ...

Not up to my expectations

We spent more money thinking that we get a better experience on Royal Caribbean especially their infant in room baby sitting services. When we boarded, we learnt there is no trained staff available for that cruise. The main dining room menu is very limited and the dishes we tried are not so tasty. We got bored of the food on the third day as the menu was pretty much same all the three days. The ...

Great choice for a first cruise!

We selected this cruise for the dates we had available and having no prior experience it did not matter to us which ship. Other reviewers mentioned that this was a smaller ship, but it seemed large to us. We really enjoyed our experience on the Enchantment of the Seas; both the customers and the staff were international and friendly. The food was excellent in the dining room and the buffet had ...

We loved our cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas. Getting on and off the boat was a breeze and we never felt bored or as if there wasn't something to do. We were entertained throughout the whole week! The staff was excellent, from our stateroom attendant, to all the bartenders and severs, as well as all the entertainment staff. My perception on cruises had always been that it was for ...
