The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

So to preface this review- I'm a single male 30 years old (almost 31!) are Loyal to Royal, and have been on half a dozen cruises. This was my first cruise on a smaller boat since 2007 or so with Radiance of the Seas. Port of Miami was a great port. We parked at the port and had no trouble boarding the ship and getting everything going through the "Diamond Plus/Diamond/Platinum" line. I just ...

Mediocre at best

I was disappointed with this cruise. I will have to think long and hard before I would agree to next Royal Caribbean cruise. The theme of the cruise was to sell, sell, sell. From the minute you enter to the ship, they were trying to sell you something: drink packages, excursions, beach apparel, artwork, dinners in the restaurant, next cruise, etc... Constantly on every TV channel, daily ...

I originally booked a cruise on Majesty of the Seas cruise over 10 months ago for a sail date of Feb 1 2018. They cancelled that date and I rebooked the 3 rooms I had reserved for Feb 5 201, 8, still Majesty of the seas from Cape Canaveral. October 2017 we were informed they were taking boat of the line, we chose to go on a cruise from Miami and our prices would be price protected. Enchantment of ...

Returning to ship from Key West, the staff was not ready. Water was empty and line were too long. Not enough staff for the return. Any time some making was making a presentation from center on level 4, it was hard to hear. We were sitting on level four 30 away and could not under what we being said. People around us all agreed. We are all asking each what was said. Very poor ...

I woke up the last day after a rough night of the ship rocking, couldn't sleep, woke up and stepped in a flooded room with what looked like raw sewage! My husband called the room attended and told him our room which was a Junior Suite on the 8th floor, was flooded. Room attendant started throwing towels all over the floor, and we asked as to how we can shower and wash our feet, the attendant let ...

A Real Bad Experience for Someone Who Knows How Good It Could Have Been

If it were not for bartenders Renford Williams, Ray (from the Philippines), bar manager Mr. Franklyn, and my cabin attendant; this would have been the worst cruise I have been on with RCCL. Only these employees (especially Mr. Williams) went out of their way to make my cruise as comfortable as possible. In fact, Mr. Williams (during his breaks) attempted to find the Next Cruise employee to help me ...

Abysmal Bar Service

I am loyal to the RC brand and have had overwhelmingly positive experiences up until the 2017-2018 New Years cruise on the Enchantment. And it wasn't just New Years Eve, it was the entire cruise The average wait time for a drink (time from bar arrival to order to delivery to receipt sign) was TWENTY minutes, even longer if you sat and ordered from wait staff. And even LONGER on New Years Eve. ...

I usually go on Royal Caribbean cruises, and until this cruise have always been very satisfied, but Enchantment of the Seas, needs to be taken out of service. Its has lots of maintenance issues. Toilets and showers not working. A/C units not working. Restrooms not working. Soda machines not working. Windjammer buffet was always out of napkins and silverware. Every room in our party had ...

Not terrible, but definitely my worst Royal Caribbean experience

We didn't have a terrible time, because we had each other and can make the most of everything, but we have been on quite a few cruises and this was the lowest quality, even lower than a Carnival Cruise 5 years ago. Everything seemed to be out of order: beverage machines, ice machines, bathrooms, ice cream machines... not all the time but often enough that I immediately regretted buying the soda ...

The ship was in disrepair. Had a JS and the balcony was very badly rusted, burn marks on the balcony table ..gross. The furniture in the cabin was in poor condition, the doors and wood finished furnishings were in bad need of refinishing. Not up to RC standards, very sorry to have to say this, because I like RCI. The tables in the WJ too close together can't sit without bumping into another ...
