The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Pros Good itinerary with Nassau, Coco Cay, and Key West. I really enjoyed Coco Cay for the huge availability of lounge chairs (many shaded under palms), nearby bathrooms and bars. Lunch had a lot of options (the ribs were definitely the best option). The straw market had good prices. The evening meal in the dining room was definitely the best food and our wait staff (Keisha and Malvino) ...

Went for a birthday celebration with 25 family & friends so a brief relatively inexpensive cruise was the goal. Ship was tired & in need of refurbishing. Felt crowded. Cabin (7086) was smaller than I would have wished. But, plenty of storage space. Beds were just OK. A/C was excellent. Soundproofing was good. Food was plentiful but low mediocre. Surprisingly, best meal of the day was lunch. ...

Food terrible. Good service. Not enough activities.

This was my first cruise so I didn't have any expectations. Upon arriving the staff was very inviting and accommodating. Luggage was brought to our room at a decent time, room was clean and neat. We immediately went to the Windjammer, and the food was very bland, not good at all! I have seen reviews where people spoke of the food not being good, I thought they were just being extra. But no, the ...

My first cruise. Not what I had imagined.

We decided to do this cruise with another couple that had sailed with RC on other occasions. This was my first cruise and I was beyond excited! We left from Miami on a Tuesday. First night out the seas were rough and I almost stepped into a pile of vomit in the ladies room. Second day, our visit to CocoCay was cancelled due to foul weather. The winds were so bad that we couldn't even ...

We chose Enchantment of the Seas because my children had never been on a cruise and thought this would be a good place to start. We had two adjoining cabins to have a bit more space. The balcony was nice, however, our weather was so bad we barely had a chance to use it. The kids activities were closed the entire trip, and the upper decks and pools were closed 90% of the time. We missed Cococay ...

OK overall experience but really bad customer service

Staff at the Customer Service desk were slow and not very kind. But the Customer Services Director was agressive and indifferent to a report we made concerning a passenger who verbally attacked us for being gay. Nothing serious happened but we were very disappointed by the Customer Services' management ability to deal with an unprovoked and unacceptable agression that made us feel uncomfortable ...

Dates (Dec. 22-26) were perfect for us as we wished to be away for the holidays. Ship was beautifully decorated for Christmas and provided many opportunities to put us in the Christmas spirit. There was caroling and a special visit from Santa and also a Catholic mass service on the Eve as well as Christmas Day. Christmas Day menu also included a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Our room ...

The ship needs repairs and updating.

I came in with high expectations for my first cruise and found the ship to be a little outdated. Almost every day there were some elevators not working. Drink machines were being serviced or out of order most of the time. The food in the buffet was a little stale and bland. The orange juice containers were empty or watered down most of the time. The tables most of the time had used plates and ...

Serious toilet issues

We were not waiting for top notch cruise ship when embarking the Enchanment but still some things came as surprise. The ship has some serious problems with the toilets. On four days I had to call for help because the toilet was not flushing and still afterwards it work very occasionally. The public toilets were sometimes disgusting, or not even usable because over floating or the odor. The ship ...

Quick trip to experience Royal Carribean , was disappointed in the food quality and the main entertainment. Ship is in need of renovation. Private island was really nice, plenty of chairs, but should have been told needed cash on island for shopping. Figured since it was their island, could use sea pass..I wasn't the only one unable to purchase tshirts...none of us were going back to the ship ...
