The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Chose this cruise because my older kids 21 & 19 have never been on cruise, been to miami/bahamas so this was our xmas gift. January 2018 sailing date. Left from Miami, only a 3 night cruise was to go to coco cay - however had to miss the port due to high wind and choppy waters, so it went right to nassau instead. Sad we missed coco cay however got to experience senior frogs where we absolutely ...

We booked very early for our 55th wedding anniversary celebration and paid for 17 people. We had been assured by our AAA agent that a request for adjacent tables at dinner was acknowledged. When we got our set sail passes we noted that we were assigned three separate tables none of which was close to the other two. The maître d' and his assistant did arrange for us to be at two adjacent tables ...

We had a good offer through the casino for the holiday cruise so we decided to grab it up. We've been on Enchantment before, and enjoy the ship even though it is "smaller." Overall, RC did a nice job bringing the holidays to the ship. They had a great dinner of turkey and the traditional bouche de noel holiday cake, we were very happy. The highlights: -Santa showed up on Christmas ...

Ship: ------ we have been on most of the RCL ships (i.e. allure, oasis, adventure, jewel, etc.) and this was the only class left so we decided we would give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the ship was and the newly added centrum was magnificent. We were concerned that we may get sea sick, but the ship was rock solid and steady Cabin: --------- we booked a ...

Royal Caribbean was our first cruise, and it definitely met our expectations. The staff was professional and polite, the ship was clean and entertainment was endless. The rooms were always very clean, and we appreciated the turn-down service, too! It was unexpected but certainly appreciated. They truly make you feel like someone special while on this ship. The only cons are quality of bed and ...

Thoughts From A First Time Cruiser

I was originally looking for a land based All Inclusive vacation when we decided to take a cruise. I chose this cruise and ship based on the dates and duration of the cruise. Since I have never cruised before, I wasn't really sure what to expect from any of the ships and have no loyalty to any cruise line. My 13 year old son and I flew into Miami the night before embarkation day. We stayed ...

We were looking for a shorter cruise on a smaller ship and this ship and itinerary fit the bill. We were not thrilled about the ports, but we just wanted a quick get away. Overall, the cruise was very good. Yes, the exterior of the ship is looking old, but the inside looked great. Nothing about the condition of the ship detracted from our experience. The highlight was the excellent food served ...

This cruise is well known because the itinerary include a private island for guests enjoy it that's why I choose it. My considerations are few - the beverages packages charged service tax but the Evian water bottles I got by myself on the entrance of cruise and carried until my room be ready to get in, the beverage package I got mostly drinks I filled my cup at machines and just 3 times I ...

Chose this cruise as a nice getaway with just my husband. He had been working away from home for months, so this cruise was perfect. Our second cruise with Royal Caribbean and I didn't realize it made us "Gold" status, so we were able to bypass the long line to get on the ship. We were second to get on. We were on board by 11:30 and had time to check out the ship before heading to the Windjammer ...
