Great cruise! Great ship!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

We took our adult sons (age 19 and 24) and the 4 of us had a great time! I saw many reviews that said the ship looked old and the bathrooms smelled like sewage. We experienced none of that! The ship was in great shape. Spoke to a couple who have cruised on that ship many times. They claim it is the best one because it has lots of windows everywhere on the boat. They claim the newer, larger ...

Low Expectation - Highly Enjoyable

We booked a 3 night/2 day New Year cruise from Miami to the Bahamas...and it was fabulous! We were very skeptical reading all the mediocre reviews on this site; and learned last year, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...however, not this time! The boat is smaller but it is immaculately maintained inside. We were in cabin 2568--the lowest and least expensive Large Family Stateroom. ...

Good to Get Away and Relax

I'm a working mom of three kids. Me and hubs never get away alone. When we do cruise, we cruise Disney with the kids. So in December 2016, my parents said they would keep the kids the week after Christmas and I immediately went online and looked for a ship leaving on December 26th. That was the only criteria-- well that, and that the ship *not* be Carnival. We got a great deal on Enchantment, buy ...

Great Christmas Trip with Mom

To celebrate Christmas and spend time with my mother, we chose this cruise. We had a wonderful time with so many terrific families sharing the holidays. Cococay and key west were more enjoyable ports than I expected. The crew couldn't have been more attentive. We'd only been on the larger, newer ships previously. No regrets, only nice memories of a special time with mom. Best way to relax ...

Nice Christmas Cruise

We just got back from a Christmas Weekend cruise from Port of Miami and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The boarding went surprisingly quick. There were plenty of workers processing the people in line, which helped a lot. We left our hotel at a few minutes past noon and were on the ship getting lunch by 1pm. Our disembarking could have used a bit more organization. It wasn't ...

Good ship but ready for refurbishing

Ship very attractive with lots of windows and views. Many bar areas but only one specialty restaurant. (Chops) More are needed. Bathrooms and showers need replacement. Service good to excellent. Dining room food good, not special. Buffet average at best. Breakfast in dining room is food highlight. Centrum elevators are quirky and often skip floors. The Solarium area is very attractive but lunch ...

Bigger not always better!

We chose this cruise for my husband and our two teenage girls:13 and 16. We had 2 inside cabins side by side, on deck 2. First off:we arrived at the port at 11am and were on board by 11:15 am, no joke!! We needed a short cruise due to girls schedules, so getting on board fast to begin our short vacation was important! Last cruise on Independence took 2 hrs to board! Norwegian:11/2 hours! Yes, ...

Great Short Cruise

We wanted a short cruise and we were concerned about going on a "smaller" ship. We've only been on Voyager or larger. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the size of the Enchantment. We also thought it was well maintained. Our bathroom had some damage to the countertop, but other than that, everything was in great shape. Staff on the Enchantment was all friendly and helpful. Perhaps more ...

Bahamas and Key West - No Coco Cay

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

we chose this cruise for the ports. Miami, Nassau, Cococay and Key west. We arrived at cococay early in the morning and it was raining. After 1.5 to 2 hours, an announcement was made that the seas were too rough and we would be departing for Key West immediately. Luckily, the skies cleared after a few hours and we got an unexpected, and sunny, sea day. Supposedly we arrived 2 hours earlier in Key ...

Junior Suite Aft on Enchantment Cabin 8156

We wanted a port intensive shorter cruise (i.e. No at sea days) and the Enchantment filled the bill with a long day into night in Nassau. We booked fairly last minute and got the last jr suite available. The pros were it's good size of both the room and balcony. While not huge, we could at least sit comfortably on the balcony. This cabin has the sometimes dreaded pole. We didn't find this to ...
