This is really a mixed review. Overall the food was very good. Pink Agave and Gunbae were exceptional. The Test Kitchen was a disaster and the food was not good. The Wake was good, but not great. and the Italian food in Extra Virgin was mostly very good. We only ate breakfast in The Galley, but most of what we tried was very good.
The staff throughout the ship was exceptional. Tips are ...
My 10th cruise on 5 different lines; my 2nd time on Scarlet Lady. Last time I splurged on a suite on < 30% capacity sailing. This time, I got a sea terrace with lovely balcony and adequate room space but teeny, tiny bathroom. The biggest difference in my overall experience between last time and now: ship capacity was > 80% full. It is a gorgeous, modern ship. I like the technology - in-room ipad ...
Now look-I am not an inexperienced cruiser – this is now my 16th cruise in the past eight years. But I’ve cruised enough to know what I like and what I don’t like. Lady is a bit of a mixed bag, and here’s why:
Embarkation- this was really messy and left a bad first impression – we arrived about an hour and a half before our scheduled embarkation time. That’s not unusual – when you arrive in ...
Overall this is an absolutely amazing ship..leaps and bounds ahead of anything else in the RCL, NCL, or Carnival lines. We are two late-twenty/early-thirty childless females who have been on 20+ cruises and this is by far our favorite ship. It truly is unlike any other and feels like every inch of the ship was considered. We were told this sailing was one of the first at full capacity and, save ...
This was a charter cruise so I will try to limit my review to those items to the Celebrity ship itself. We have been on this ship several times in a Consierge cabin with nice balcony. The room was spotless & our cabin steward, Komang, was great. As this was a intense music cruise not a lot of time was spent in the cabin but the time there was comfortable.
We felt the food in the Main Dining ...
Having sailed NCL several times before and reading reviews of the Gem, I looked forward to another enjoyable cruise. Sadly, we were disappointed.
The ship is very well maintained. The staff, excellent (except some non-helpful Shore Exc. staff). The majority of the public areas and venues are very nice. Our favorites where the Great Outdoors and the Spinnaker Lounge.
Food...let's just ...
We chose the Oceania Vista because it was a smaller ship. The staff were so nice, friendly, and accommodating in every way. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were the biggest and nicest we have ever seen on a cruise ship and we have taken about 35 cruises.
The food was absolutely delicious! The only problem was the quality of meat at the specialty steakhouse. It was very tough and ...
We just got off the Icon of the Seas after it's 6th sailing. The ship is beautiful. Has so many wonderful things- but some negatives. Boarding was fast and easy- well organized- we entered Deck five- the promenade- it is spacious filled with many features of the Oasis class- but much wider and brighter- the Pearl is a beautiful structure on that level . Shops restaurants and so much to see. ...
Close to home, convenience. Florin, at Java Blue coffee was wonderful. He deserves a raise. No matter how long his lines were, he was always pleasant and ready to tell a joke. He also remembered names! Family did a great job keeping our rooms tidy and to bring whatever we needed or wanted. Lizzie, the Cruise Director, was super engaging and upbeat. She is a super find. The food is mediocre, but ...
We haven't sailed with Royal in almost 20 years and have been on 6 Carnival cruises in between those times. We had a very good time to say the least.
Miami was our port and we got thru security and onto the ship within 30 mins but I could see it taking an hour or more easily. The ship was laid out better than most of Carnivals ships, and its really easy to navigate. It felt more grand than ...
