We are a late 60s couple with over 35 cruises under our belt so we know that not everyone is curious about the same areas when they read a review. This review of our Super Bowl cruise on the Reflection covers things that we are interested in personally when reading a review.
We parked off site in Miami and it went well. You can read my very detailed review of parking on the CC departure ports ...
Most everything was great with a few exceptions. Bar service was slow and some of the casino bartenders were rude. Also, in the dining room, there was way too much time between courses. However, the food was excellent. The food in the oceanview cafe was good but I wish there was more variety. It was the same thing every day. People were putting towels out in the pool area early in the morning and ...
This was our second cruise on Reflection and third cruise total. We previously have done the eastern Caribbean on Reflection and Alaska on the Solstice. We didn't really care much about the ports of call and planned to stay on the ship at several stops.
Embarkation was fast, it took one hour from the car rental center at Miami airport until we were on board having lunch.
We had over ...
My partner and I have cruised exclusively with Celebrity and this was another great one. The ship is in great shape and we found the crew incredibly friendly and accommodating We had a Concierge Class Cabin (1409) and loved it. This was a sunset veranda cabin on deck 10. Our cabin steward, Michael, was exceptional and took great care of us.
We dined each night in the Opus Dining Room and ...
My husband and I have been on a celebrity ship ten years ago. We have been on other lines since then. We have been on Disney and Norwegian. This was our 7th cruise.
We chose celebrity again because of the food and entertainment. We decided to do the concierge room. This is an upgrade from our usual but with the shipboard credit it was a no brainer. We were going to add a classic beverage ...
We enjoyed most aspects of the cruise. Great room and our room steward, Juan, was terrific. The classic drink package, which was included, was more than adequate. I first thought I would have to upgrade but that was not necessary. The entertainment was a little limited. One group we enjoyed was Blind Vinyl. The food was very good but not spectacular.. I enjoyed that escargot was on the appetizer ...
This was our first Celebrity cruise having taken Carnival and Princess in the past. We had a concierge verandah cabin that I have to say was very nice. The over the bed storage a little hard to access and organize but roomy and the balcony big especially compared to princess. The best part was the modern bathroom with a closing shower door and plenty of storage space. Getting on and off the ship ...
Bar nearest theatre on Deck 4 only had one bartender. There should have been two bartenders at this bar, like most of the other bars.
Food was usually good, but the duck in the main dining room was under cooked an fatty.
Service in the main dining room was generally very good, but at times slow.
We enjoyed the Lawn Grill for lunch and we were able to eat while watching a wedding take ...
The Reflection has the best cabins. Showers that actually have room in them, with shower doors that close and don't leak water all over! Drawers in the bathroom, great for makeup etc. Balcony seemed larger than on most ships. Food was standard Celebrity food, much better than Princess and Carnival! We have already booked another cruise on the Reflection. We had Cabin 6219 which was close ...
We opted for this cruise as our second ever, having once taken an Alaska cruise on a slightly down-market line and wanting a higher level of food, drink and service. We found our balcony cabin roomy, comfortable and well designed despite being in the smallest category. The bed was extremely comfortable and the blackout curtains very effective. Cabin service was superb. Shore excursions were ...
