Celebrity Reflection has become mediocre at best.

We sailed on the Dec 12,2015 sailing of the Reflection out of Miami. Unfortunately there was a bomb scare that delayed us for 3 and1/2 hours standing in line in the heat with no announcements at first just rumors. Finally bottles of water were handed out. After drinking water guess what the bathrooms were need.. well the port a potties were across the street and had no toilet paper. So we ...

Boarding Delay Port of Miami

My wife and I were in line for boarding the ship for three hours. Reportedly the delay was due to a breach of security. We understand delays due to security issues, however once the offender was arrested, in our opinion Celebrity should have had staff members explaining to passengers what the delay was about and advising when we would be boarding. We were waiting in line with no access to ...

Elegant ship, disappointing dining room food and entertainment!

We have been cruising since 1990 and have Elite Captain's Club status on Celebrity. We had a lovely balcony cabin on deck 7 which our attendant kept spotless daily. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, among the best we've encountered at sea. The dining room dinners, however, lacked flavor and presentation. For example, the lobster tail was a good size but dry, even with extra ...

First cruise, and it was good and bad.

The good, the rooms were very nice, we had an outside cabin with balcony. The food was good, the buffet was average. The bar service was horrible, you just about had to wave a red flag to get attention. The Eastern European woman in the Gym was more interested in going on side excursions than her job in the Gym, also very rude. T he ship TV had a channel that told us to shop at the Taj in Ocho ...

Celebrity has lost it's MOJO

This was our second cruise on the Reflection and the third with Celebrity. Overall, our 15th cruise and regret to inform you that Celebrity has lost its MOJO. As we are Florida residents, we drove down I95 on Saturday and arrived around 12:30 PM and did not have any problems entering the port. (thanks to the one billion dollar tunnel, it was a snap.) Just make sure you follow I395 East and then ...

Perhaps expecting too much but what a let down. Transatlantic flight good apart from headwinds extending time by 2 hrs. Miami airport and security a disaster one and three quarters hours to get through. Shambles loading bus to Hotel. again long delay. very few celebrity staff to assist. Courtyard Hotel Miami airport good but plans to visit downtown Miami out of question due to delays. Coach pick ...

Let me preface my review by stating that this was our 5th cruise overall, but our first with Celebrity (the other 4 with Carnival). Our previous cruises were taken along with our children, but since we were travelling alone this time, we decided to spend a little more and book with Celebrity. We read many reviews and publications and Celebrity always rates at the top of the industry. ...

Having recently returned from our cruise on Reflection, this is the first time i have commented about Celebrity Cruises. I have been on many Celebrity cruises and by far this was the worst ! Beautiful ship , sailed from Miami for the first time ( and the last !) It took us 2 hours to board the ship, many people waiting in the heat. When we eventually reached the check in desk, we were not ...

Not worth all the Hype!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

Our first Celebrity and not that impressed after 8 prev cruises on other lines. The biggest disappointment was the CONSTANT hocking all the extra services!. We had 3 phone calls and two written invites for the "Art Auction" aka Ripoff. Plus Any time dinning was an absolute joke, they could not accommodate the number of people signed up, then both the dinning room and hotel managers blamed ...

This was a first for us with Celebrity and a trans-atlantic. We sailed the Celebrity Reflection. Our balcony cabin was adequate. Great layout in the bathroom. We have sailed RCL and well as Princess, Carnival and Regent. I expected a high level of service. But was very disappointed. Our room attendant was great. But as for our waiter and other staff in the dining room. Worst I've ever ...
