Celebrity Reflection Poor Service

Review for Celebrity Reflection to Caribbean - Western

We had very poor service on this ship. The staff at the buffet was rude. They tried to give me an omelet with out a plate. When I asked for a plate, I was told to get one at the end of the line. The line was long, like every other place on this ship. When my wife complained, the manager Dariusz was almost laughing. He had a big smile on his face. Not sailing on Celebrity again. To get a bottle ...

A little bit than over a year ago, my family and myself went on a cruise on the Celebrity Reflection. Weather was awful, but it's not anybody's fault. On our way, we stopped in Cozumel where we did a little shopping, based on the TRUSTEE map Celebrity gave us. With a small money inherited from her recent father's death, my wife bought a diamond ring in a jewellery store called Silver of the ...

Sadly Celebrity let us down this time!

We have cruised with many cruise lines over the years and last year we had the wonderful pleasure of cruising on the Celebrity Eclipse and we loved it. The ship, the food, in fact everything was perfect so we booked an Aqua Class cabin Christmas Caribbean this year without hesitation on the sister ship 'Refelection'. Embarkation was busy, however you expect that on a big ship. We stayed with ...

We have always preferred Celebrity to other cruise ship lines, but our latest experience on Reflection was absolutely awful from beginning to end. Not only did this cruise not measure up to our previous cruise experiences on Celebrity, it fell far short of average. This sailing was packed with people thanks to the drinks package promo. Couple that with 450 children and teens traveling with ...

I want to start off by mentioning that I absolutely LOVE Royal Caribbean and plan to take many more of their cruises in the future. Also, I am usually easy to please and I have never written a Cruise review before. Since Royal Caribbean owns Celebrity, I figured it would be even better than what I am used to with Royal, since it is supposedly their "luxury" line... Boy was I wrong! Here are a few ...

This is our 5th cruise, we did back to back from miami transatlantic then mederteranian rome to Rome on celebrity reflection. We travelled from Australia and expected obviously too much from this cruise line. As for the cruise our first leg of 16 days was a nightmare. We went to our room on arrival only not to be allowed in till around 4pm. By this time, it was late and we wanted to change and ...

The Worst Cruise Ever!

Review for Celebrity Reflection to Caribbean - Eastern

I would avoid this ship? Why? A dirty cabin, a disinterested hotel staff, one of whom came to the cabin unannounced a about 10pm to argue and middle of the road food and entertainment! It all started at embarkation, when the "security" people would not allow my UL listed power strips on board. When I complained on the ship they gave me two long extension cables, both handmade and unsafe by UL ...

I was really hoping to recreate the magic of being aboard the Solstice five years ago, however, this voyage had the flavor of a completely opposite experience. Pros: The ship itself is great. I found it to be relatively clean and I loved that it was decorated for the holiday. Celebrity always has amazing looking ships. The re-done Sunset Bar is beautiful and probably the finest bar on board the ...

An Experience that should not be repeated

We just took the Reflection on the Nov1-8 cruise. The experience was horrid from the beginning. Embarkation was totally disorganized with NO CELELBRITYstaff arouind to ameorilate the situation or even provide cold water on a 85 degree day. THE MDR had horrible food, especially the last night. The food was colsd and service very disorgasnized. We had a sommelier who was racist and ignored us by ...

The Service was terrible

There is no denying the ship has a very sleek modern design, though there is nothing groundbreaking here. The design reminds me of a Four Points Sheraton hotel clashing into an upscale shopping mall. Also, I never felt Celebrity's "Modern Luxury" on this ship. Part of this came from the fact that there are so many people on this ship, that even the facilities that are meant to be low key feel ...
