For everyone that is considering a cruise on the Carnival Valor and have read any negative comments about the ship, IGNORE IT!! This was my 3rd cruise. We have also been on Royal Caribbean as well. here's a little break down of how it went.

We were originally booked in a balcony room. Carnival called us a couple of months before the cruise to ask if we wanted to upgrade. We paid about half what this cabin usually costs which is a good deal but no "butler service" at that price. We got VIP boarding but otherwise no special VIP treatment.The cabin is really nice.
