Loved the Glory!!!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

Cruised out of Miami with my husband and 8 and 10 year olds in August 2017 on the Western Caribbean itinerary (Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize City, Cozumel). We had a fabulous time and I highly recommend the Glory and this itinerary. Honestly, I don't know why people spend more to cruise with other lines (unless, of course, they want to experience a different ship / line / itinerary). This was my ...

Balcony Stateroom # 8267 Late Dining Golden Restaurant For a vessel that recently came out of drydock, it was disappointing to see how many areas were worn, beat up, and just did not seem to be cared for. Cruise High Points: Jaince - Magician, This guy is excellent. He obviously loves what he does! Was happy to see him at dinner several nights. Ananya Singhara - Emerald's ...

July Western Caribbean, Great Weather and Service

Great time aboard the Glory with my mom and sister. We had anytime dining and only had to wait one night for about 20 minutes. Service was great from the cabin steward, bars, waiters and dining room . Excursions: Grand Caymen - booked the westin for the day $249 - private excursion. 7 mile beach is awesome and we enjoyed our time in the water and at the pool. Probably not worth the ...

Chose this itinerary (Half Moon Cay-St. Thomas-San Juan-Grand Turk) because these were all new destinations for us and it left out of our hometown: Miami, FL. PROS: Service was outstanding; ship was spotless all week; cabin stewards kept room clean and ice bucket filled daily; hilarious late-night adult-content comedians in the Punchliner; Guy's Burgers and Blue Iguana menu and staff ...

This was our 6th cruise and probably the best ever. Every staff member bent over backwards to make our trip great! Even if we where just passing them in the hallway. The Chef's table was easily the best meal we've ever had. When the Chef decides to show off just sit back and enjoy it. Yaunita and Thomas in the Platinum dining room were welcoming every night and could anticipate our every ...

Horrible Experience

I saved for over 5 years to take my boyfriend on a cruise, I had been on 2 previously and loved them! However, I have never in my life been so disappointed in a vacation. The food was mediocre at best! There was no midnight buffet with ice sculpture or chocolate fountains, as there were before. The options for dinner were bland and did not change very often. the waiter even told us every night ...

Disappointed in this Cruise

We have taken a number of other Carnival cruises and have been willing to accept some concession in service in return for reduced cruise fees. However, our cruise on the Carnival Glory was a disappointment. I am not certain if this is a corporate strategy or just a problem with the Glory. First, we were offered the option to have our room serviced in the morning or the afternoon. I should have ...

My review really isn't fair when it comes down to it. I tend to compare ship to ship and well this ship REALLY lacks the "wow" of the other ships I have been on. Everything from the decor of the ship to the staff aboard it just needs some serious help. We did like that the embarkation process was so much faster since the changes, yet scary at the same time. Cabin was 2338 and no matter how we ...

Family Cruise

My family are frequent cruisers and found the Steak House to be the worst that we've experienced. The service was poor; the food was substandard, and the dress code was enforced haphazardly. Members of our party who were dressed in dress shorts were asked to change clothes. However, other diners were seated wearing cut-off jeans, cargo shorts, and flip-flops. The waitress asked me if I wanted ...

The food was very good and the restaurants had excellent service. No waiting time in the restaurants except in buffet line. Always had long lines. We chose this cruise due to destination of our preference to Belize. Over all everything was great the ship was clean and hall staff was friendly. we didn't do much activities but one night of comedy club and that was good. Embarking and disembarking ...
