Love Carnival, love all the hard working staff. Food quality was not up to what we have experienced in past cruises on other ships. Couple spa treatment room was right under the waterworks, was not the relaxing experience expected. Sounded like the ceiling was coming down on our head!! Ship was clean. Found most staff courteous and hard working. Our balcony room was great, stewards kept it very ...
My wife and i are platinum Carnival cruisers and this time had 4 family members along, including our 2 year old grandson. He was a bit overwhelmed by all the sites and sounds, but had a great time. The crew gave him special attention throughout the ship and always stopped to talk to him.
The overall cruise was very good and there were some positive changes that are easily noticed.

Want to cruise the Eastern Caribbean, get on board the Glory. The Crew has one mission, to ensure you have the time of your life. They execute this mission perfectly. From our Stateroom Steward Youok to our Guest Services Associate Mohamed Ali Mahrsi, our wish was their command. After breakfast, we started the day on Deck 9 with our favorite Mixologist Vasily who always crafted us a fine morning ...
Our room steward and the entertainment crew really made the cruise a great experience. I have been on the Glory three times as well as pretty much every other Carnival ship class from the Fantasy to the Horizon. Yes the brand new ships are beautiful and super clean but for me my cruise is really based on the entire experience.
I found the food to be on par with most of my other Carnival ...
WHY THIS CRUISE: We chose this ship/cruise primarily for the varied itinerary and number of stops in interesting places. My husband and I (in our 60's) had visited all the ports; my daughter and son-in-law had the fun of some new ports on this trip.
OUR TRIP TO MIAMI: We drove down from North Carolina on Friday and stayed in the Sleep Inn, Airport. We've been there before and the hotel ...
I thought the cruise was amazing!
I’ll agree Carnival could improve the buffet. Dining room was great, Guys burgers are amazing.
The staff work there tails off and keep a smile on their faces and always willing to go the extra mile. Our wait staff was amazing Walter was fantastic!
The cruise director is fun and keeps the party going day and night!
The ports were so fun!
I believe ...
We enjoyed the Glory. Crew members were very friendly & helpful.
This is a "Conquest" class ship, which means you are unable to go from forward to aft on a few of the decks, which is a bit confusing & inconvenient.
Food service & quality were excellent. Entertainment was a bit sparse.
I was disappointed that CCL has decided to charge $ for cranberry juice at breakfast, also ...
My biggest disappointment was that the entire casino area (located in a main walk-through floor) allowed for smoking. As an asthmatic this was very upsetting and problematic for me. Several of the photography back drops were located in that area, and I had to walk through there to go my assigned dinner location. There was no way to avoid it.
I also was not a fan of the assigned seating for ...
While I can venture to say that I have been on better ships, it doesn't mean that this ship didn't serve the purpose of what was needed! First and foremost, I prefer a Guys Burger Joint Burger over a regular Lido deck burger! This is included in your price which is great. Additionally, the Blue Iguana bar that serves "Chipotle Style" taco bowels and burritos are great! The Captain's Suite needs ...
We have decided to, as our grandchildren (we have seven of them) reach age 12, take them with us on a cruise without their parents or siblings - give them something (hopefully) that they can remember. That being said, we chose the Glory because we had not been on her before and the dates, itinerary and airfare aligned with our plans.
We had a direct flight that arrived around 8 am, so we ...
