Love ANY Carnival Cruise. I have been on the Glory many times and never had any issues. Always choose an interior cabin since I am only in there to sleep. Too much going on to hang out in the cabin. Staff are very friendly and they love to tell you about where they are from. Embarkation/debarkation were a breeze. Only did two excursions since I have been to the islands multiple times. Did the ...
My biggest disappointment was that the entire casino area (located in a main walk-through floor) allowed for smoking. As an asthmatic this was very upsetting and problematic for me. Several of the photography back drops were located in that area, and I had to walk through there to go my assigned dinner location. There was no way to avoid it.
I also was not a fan of the assigned seating for ...
We've had a number of cruises on the Glory and it remains as one of my favorite ships. The comedy club is awesome when combined with the nightly entertainment. Carnival did this right.
We like the smaller ships with around 2,000 people. This one holds a little over 3,000 so it was close to what my max would be. Plenty of chairs directly near the pools until about 10, then you had to go to ...
They had a great show Amor Cubano with great Cuban music. Some from Gloria Estefan other from Celia Cruz. The show was fabulous singer and dancers were great.
If you like dancing to Spanish music they had the Spanola band they had great music. Every night they played Merenque, salsa, bachata, great dancing music we loved them. We went to see them every night.
They also had a great Rock n ...
We went to get away and relax. The boarding process did not start until almost noon. We were on deck 7. You can tell the boat is not being maintained, it's rusting and dirty. The crew is lazy and they do as little as they can possibly get away with. Over all the quality of the food was the worst I've experienced on any ship. Our cabin was not cleaned while we were out and we had to ask for clean ...
While I can venture to say that I have been on better ships, it doesn't mean that this ship didn't serve the purpose of what was needed! First and foremost, I prefer a Guys Burger Joint Burger over a regular Lido deck burger! This is included in your price which is great. Additionally, the Blue Iguana bar that serves "Chipotle Style" taco bowels and burritos are great! The Captain's Suite needs ...
This was our 11th Cruise and couldn't have been more bored on a cruise. When out to Sea there was nothing to do. No daytime shows not that would have helped any because at night the shows were not good and the sound system was so bad it was like the speakers were blown. The food for the most part was average at best and most desserts during lunch had no flavor. Found a lot of staff not too ...
I chose this cruise for 3 reasons
1. Itinerary
2. Price
3. Carnival Past Guest
I wanted to give Carnival another try since I’ve been hearing wonderful things about it...
And honestly this cruise did not disappoint.... the entertainment was fabulous, the food in the MDR was fantastic, all of the staff was super pleasant and it did not seem to be “fake” we had good conversations with ...
To start off ship looks really outdated and is understaffed. Dont not go on this cruise if you re not a fan of making lines. Everything you can do on the ship is crowded. Pool buffet etc... Our room toilet broke and and the toilet kept running water and took plumber 30 mins to get to the room and fix it. Cabin had toilet water on the rugs. They left it like that we called back and they show up and ...
We have decided to, as our grandchildren (we have seven of them) reach age 12, take them with us on a cruise without their parents or siblings - give them something (hopefully) that they can remember. That being said, we chose the Glory because we had not been on her before and the dates, itinerary and airfare aligned with our plans.
We had a direct flight that arrived around 8 am, so we ...
