Great Family Cruise!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

We chose this cruise primarily based on itinerary. This was my 5th Carnival Cruise (four on Conquest Class ships and one on the Magic). We traveled with 8 family members, myself and husband, two kids - ages 20 and 16, my parents, my sister and 12 year old niece. We flew in from Dallas and Denver the Friday before late and stayed near the Ft. Lauderdale airport at a Springhill Suites. The next ...

Amazing dining room staff and cabin steward

This was my first cruise I enjoyed it. The most amazing dinning room staff. We had an exceptional waiter. The cabin steward was extremely helpful and nice. Clean rooms, clean ship and most of the staff were friendly, but as always there are bad apples. The staff at the funshops were rude, not all but many of them during special sales. The sales staff in jewelry shop during a sale were rude ...

HIGH EXPECTATIONS BUT LEFT DISAPPOINTED

We chose this cruise because we did the exact same cruise last year, same ship, same week, same itinerary and we absolutely had an amazing cruise, not one single negative at all, in fact it was 100% the best cruise we had ever taken. With that being said, my expectations for this cruise this time around were very high and unfortunately we did not have the same experience. Don't get me wrong, ...

Love Carnival but the spa is awful.

Had a great time on our cruise but don't waste your time, money or sanity at the spa. They are only there to hard sell way overpriced stuff you don't really need. The staff seems well-trained but the actual sessions were mediocre and ended with at least 20 minutes left for hard sales. The cruise staff was outstanding. Our cabin steward was a gem. The cruise director was hilarious - we hope to ...

I chose Carnival because I have cruised with them A LOT! I chose Glory because of the BEAUTIFUL destinations and they absolutely were breathtaking! There were 3 adult females in my party. We flew into Miami the night before and stayed at La Quinta Airport East because of free shuttles (airport & cruise port, breakfast, and wifi). I was a bit leary about their security and you can't really walk ...

Nice ship but needs some minor adjustments

We chose the Glory because the sail date fit our schedule. Overall it was a nice ship. Our balcony room would have been excellent if the AC worked. We couldn't open our curtain or the room would be unbearable. Below are a few observations about our trip: * Faster to the Fun is worth every penny * Our room steward was fantastic * Guy's Burger is the best restaurant on the ship. * ...

We took this cruise as a graduation present to our daughter, and she was not disappointed, nor were we! So much to do, so much to see. An experience we are not likely to forget! The shore excursions were well worth the time and money, the people who ran them were fun! The food at the evening dining was very good. I think our daughter lived off of Guy's burgers the first 3 days! She just loved ...

Wonderful time on the glory

FANTASTIC SERVICE! Our cabin steward was awesome always bringing us fresh towels, ice, and making our birthday cruise special. Check-in was a breeze. The ship is definitely looking older but still kept up. The best part of the cruise was the ports of call. St. Thoms and Half moon cay being the highlights. I highly suggest renting an ATV (as long as your comfortable driving on the left hand side of ...

Nice ship with a few flaws

We've been on 15 cruises -12 on CCL. For reference, we'll be platinum on our Vista cruise in July, so we purchased FTTF for this last one. We also had cheers (yes, worth it for us). Just got off the Glory - here's my impression. First time on this particular ship. We were married during a cruise on the Liberty, a sister ship, several years ago. Food: MDR was short of disappointing. We went ...

Very enjoyable

My husband and I sailed on Glory. We do not care for a lot of partying or adult themed atmosphere but once we realized we didn't have to be around all of that we really had a great time. There is so much to do beyond these activities that we really had a nice time. We did see a couple of the shows where the acting and singing and dancing really was excellent. We were sat at a table with a ...
