This was my husband's and my first cruise and I liked it much more than I thought I would (I'm more of an all-inclusive beach resort gal!) I also tend to get seasick so I prepared in advance and took a Bonine tablet every day of the cruise. The ship seemed to shake a lot at the bow and others were commenting that it was an unusual amount of vibration so maybe there was an issue that has since been ...
We took an Eastern Caribbean Cruise for Holy Week (April 12-19) and had a wonderful time! The ship is nice, with many amenities: Lounge bars, a wonderful coffee bar, pools, water slides for kids and a Video Arcade we enjoyed with them. What really stands out though, is the dining and service. The food was VERY GOOD all around: the Buffet Station had a lot of variety as did the Wok Station (with ...
Good Itinerary. Nice Ship. Guys Burgers were EVERYTHING everyone said. I could not believe a burger was good, but it was practically the best thing on the ship.
As usual, carnival staff was kind, nice and efficient. Things are kept incredibly clean and picked up.
The Itinerary was great. We did our own things for the ports and were very happy with that.
Comedy shows were WAY TOO RAUNCHY for me ...
Overall not many complaints. I purchased the faster to the fun so my check in was very fast and smooth. I basically got off the shuttle and pretty much walked right on the ship. I checked in late so my luggage had not made it to my cabin. By the time I returned from guest services to complain my luggage was at my door. I had a balcony on the 8th deck. My cabin was clean and very roomy. There was ...
The last time we cruised was over 10 years ago. 3rd time on carnival, 1st time on liberty. Everything was awesome. We have two boys 17 & 11. We only seen them @ ports and dinner time. They had the time of their lives. They also had their own stateroom right next to ours.
So much to do on this cruise.
The staff was great. Food was good. I recommend the brunch that is served twice during the week. ...
My husband and I traveled with 4 other couples from Maine the day before our cruise and stayed at the Crowne Plaza International Hotel in Miami. It was very nice and quite and there was a Latin Cafe across the street that had a great breakfast for only 5.99 the next morning. There was a couple of convenience stores around that you could get soda but saw no wine to buy.
We took Super Shuttle to ...
First we have cruised for the past 4 years with a children that are 7 & 11 now. We cruised Disney Wonder, Disney Dream & NCL Epic. Carnival Liberty has almost nothing that those ships have but as the phrase goes you get what you pay for. Liberty has almost no good entertainment. They have a comedy club, ok lounge music as a couple of good acoustic solo performers. No night shows to speak of and on ...
Embarkation: I had done a back to back cruise (this was my second) so a little after everyone else left the cruise ship the folks doing back to back gathered in the lobby and a Carnival employee escorted us off, through customs and back on. They also gave me a new ship card. My husband arrived that morning and took the Carnival transfer from Ft Lauderdale airport. He was at port early so had to ...
This was our second Carnival cruise and we loved every minute of it. With one minor/major (depending on the time of day) exception: cabin location. AVOID cabin #1006 AT ALL COSTS! It's right below the fitness center. We initially thought there was a cow or elephant stuck in our ceiling doing jumping jacks. Turns out it was just people running on the treadmill. Unless you like the sound of ...
Embarkation was a breeze. Arrived at the port around 1pm due to flights and there was no wait and no lines to get on board. We did the checkin at the airport, so we were ready to go as soon as we boarded. We went to our cabins (2 cabins, not adjoining, but we had the balcony partition opened. Port side, deck 8, midship.) Dropped our carry ons and headed up to the lido for lunch. Sail away was ...
