Last sailing of Breeze out of Miami, We decided we would take this cruise as it was a short duration and the Breeze is a relatively new ship. Lots of food choices including Guy Fieri Burgers, Blue Iguana, Red Parrot bars, buffet, dining room, specialty steak restaurant which was delicious! and many more options. Cabin 9272 was very well maintained but could use some updates to the curtains and ...
I may be young (13) but I enjoyed this cruise and would definitely recommend. The times I was at the buffet (Lido Marketplace). The lines were not to long or there was a shorter line. The food was great. I would definitely recommend Guy's Burger Joint. If I had the chance I would pick this ship in a heartbeat for a vacation. The ship was nicely decorated and not to over the top. Nice and ...
We've only been on 3 cruises prior to this sailing. This was by far the best. Let me start with Embarkation. We drove to the port and parked at the port. $20 per day. Kinda of steep, however very conviienent. It took approx. 1.5 hrs. to board. Our cabin was an interior spa cabin. It was small but we didn't spend a whole lot of time in there. With a spa cabin, you have access to the Serenity Spa. ...
Ok ship, pools are small, standing room only, no room to swim. The food in the main dinning room was great. buffet not so good. Guy's burgers was ok not great.
All the staff were great and the cruise director was awesome. The 80's and 90's trivia is a must go. Our room was very good.
The one bad thing that stands out is the first 5 days it was like we were racing to go from port to port. ...
My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We traveled to Miami the day before and stayed at the Rodeway Inn on 826 which is right at the turnpike and I95 intersect. This hotel was less expensive than one closer to the port. We parked at 8300 Park and Ride which is more than half price of the cruise port and only 10 minutes from the hotel we stayed at and from the cruise ...
I just got off the Breeze for a back to back from the last week of Feb and the first week of March 2016. I really enjoyed the ship. It took a little while to get on, I guess thanks to Customs. The food was good, the stops were fun and the employees were very nice, friendly and good. I think the Breeze was the prettiest ship I have been on and I've done 20 cruises with my 21st scheduled next month. ...
Embarkation in Miami was very good we arrived at the port just before 11am and were on the ship at about 12.20pm.We travelled with 8 other people some were experienced cruisers. We were all shocked to see the last guests from the previous cruise getting off at 12 noon. The people that pay faster to the fun fees are wasting their money as they only get on approx. 10 to 15 minutes prior to the rest of ...
Summary
After many years without going on a Carnival cruise this trip confirmed why, Carnival cruises are terrible, and not worth even the low price they charge. Carnival can fool 1st timers but seasoned cruisers who have been on other cruise lines will be disappointed.
Background
As previously stated we had not been on a Carnival cruise for about 10 years until 10/2015. We took cruise ...
This was the fifth cruise for our family of 5 with 3 young sons (4, 7 and 9) but our first time on the Breeze. We've previously sailed on the Sunshine (twice), Glory, and Fantasy. My first impression of the Breeze was the decor-I LOVED the more muted and modern look of the ship. I also noticed very quickly that it was larger than any of the ships we had sailed on previously-this was also noticed ...
We were on the Breeze 8 days to Grand Turk, Puerto Rico, St Kitts, and St. Maarten
This was our third cruise on Carnival. We went with 16 other family members.
We had a great time
The ship itself was great. We enjoyed all of the areas and activities. My kids loved the water slides, hot tubs, mini golf, and thrill theater. The older kids liked the ropes course. The adults liked to ...
