Just returned from my Miami cruise, my 15th. a few comments on the Breeze. First night steakhouse...advertises free wine first night, well that's per table and they set you with other couples, wine was no good anyway...day of arrival was a zoo, so crowded it was unbelievable, decided to eat pizza which was tasteless but it was served at the back of the ship that stinks from the Indian food served ...
My Husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Breeze this February. Only wish the cruise was longer. One of my favorite finds was the Serenity Deck 15, private with hammocks, day beds, hot tubs, bar. Found myself there everyday listening to audio books and enjoying the company of other travelers. Look forward to the Vista in 2016, sure hope the ship has this deck. We will come again. ...
Review: The Carnival Breeze.
Well here it is, my first review of a cruise. As this in my first review, I have no idea what format I am going to use and just kind of going to make this up as I go along. In that respect this is like when you first step onto a new-to-you cruise ship. You wander around a bit at first and ultimately you’ll find your way around. Speaking of, boarding the Breeze was a ...
November 3rd 2013 to November 9th with stops in Grand Turk, Ocho Rios Jamaica and Nassau Bahamas. Started off a little rocky. Embarkation was delayed as the previous cruise apparently had some security issues that we still aren't sure of. Apparently they brought dog's on board and stopped passengers from disembarking. So the early faster to the fun boarders didn't start boarding till almost noon. ...
My SO and I took this ship without much research. We are in our early 40's and this was our 5th Carnival cruise. We have chosen to stay with Carnival despite recent issues because they have always treated us well. We previously had traveled on the Legend twice, the Glory and the Splendor. Having heard about the upgrades and new look to the Breeze we decided to embrace change. And we liked the ...
The Carnival Breeze was a delight to be on! I thought it was a magnificent ship with lots of fun things to do while on the ship and off. Even though my trip was short due to family activities, it never got in the way and it was a great experience!
The pool was large for a cruise ship. It had a nice detail at the bottom which reminded you of the ocean. It wasn't that crowded during ship days, so ...
The boarding process was a disaster we arrived at 1:30 and stood in line for 90 minutes. There were 4700 people (1200 kids) on our cruise and it was mayhem. We were shocked to see only 10 reps doing check in at the lower lobby before being sent upstairs where many reps were avaialable to hand out keys. Been on EPIC and Allure OS in the last 12 months and in both cases we were onboard within 30 ...
As two working professionals and raising our three kids, the timing of this vacation was perfect! Carnival Breeze delivered a memorable vacation.
In our family was two adults, 1 thirteen year old, 1 ten year old and 1 nine year old.We took a plane from Montreal to Miami and arrived very late at night. Took a private driver with a Suburban to Best Western West Suites (cab ride of $35). Great ...
This was our (wife and I) second cruise. Arrived @ port of Miami and was amazed how fast we got through checking in and getting onboard. When we entered the ship we were floored at how beautiful the ship was. It wasn't long before I found my way to The Guys Burger Joint and had an incredible burger, make that 2 burgers. After that off to our room to see if our luggage was there. It was. Got it all ...
I do have to say the breeze was a nice ship. There is a lot of stuff to do and a LOT of booze to drink. However being a non-drinker and a non-gambler the "fun" can be kinda limited. I ended up doing a lot of trivia games (Kate was great btw) and bean bag toss. The hasbro game show was fun to watch, the comedy shows were boring, and the playlist shows were too full to even get to see.
We were ...
