Coming back from Cozumel which was a blast. This rainbow showed up from the ship crashing the water with a little sunshine to add. The sea was nice to us leaving Cozumel.

Carnival Breeze April 2016 to Aruba, Curacao

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

I went on a singles cruise where we stopped at Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacao, and Aruba. The Breeze was a little worn, a little dirty, not really bad, but not good either. The food was acceptable, but nothing to write home about. They did have some great comedy shows and there was a wonderful band that played nightly in one of the lounges. Needless to say, we did a lot of dancing, and a lot of ...

The ship was well laid out and easy to navigate. Mike Pack is an excellent and very entertaining cruise director. Lots to do for the whole family from the little kids to the grandparents. Food was good, in fact the steakhouse was one of the best meals I have ever had. This cruise hooked us on cruising. Cabin - Balcony with enough room for 4, stewards were great, definetly recommend a balcony ...

Wonderful Time Sailing the Southern Caribbean on the Breeze

Ship Pros: Having been on an older, non-refurbished Carnival ship (Victory, in 2011), I was happy to see that the Breeze had a new, less tacky design. Different areas of the ship had fun and appropriate theming, such as the Piano Bar, Bonsai sushi restaurant, and Limelight Lounge, to name just a few. Ship Cons: Space is a huge issue. Chair hogs were in full effect for the entire ...

Good Times on the Breeze

This was a family cruise during April vacation. We chose this cruise primarily for the itinerary--Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Curacao and Aruba - because we wanted to go to places we hadn't been to before. Embarkation was super smooth. We had priority boarding and had virtually no lines or waiting. The ship was beautiful. The decor is much more toned down than other Carnival ...

We sailed on the Carnival Breeze for spring break in April 2016. (This was our 13th cruise overall, 6th on Carnival, and 2nd on the Breeze.) Embarkation – The port workers were strictly enforcing the entrance time on your boarding pass, so no bother showing up at anytime before that. Our passes were for the 10-10:30am check in. We were all checked in and waiting to board by 11am, but it wasn’t ...

Our Best Cruise So Far

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

We've only been on 3 cruises prior to this sailing. This was by far the best. Let me start with Embarkation. We drove to the port and parked at the port. $20 per day. Kinda of steep, however very conviienent. It took approx. 1.5 hrs. to board. Our cabin was an interior spa cabin. It was small but we didn't spend a whole lot of time in there. With a spa cabin, you have access to the Serenity Spa. ...

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We traveled to Miami the day before and stayed at the Rodeway Inn on 826 which is right at the turnpike and I95 intersect. This hotel was less expensive than one closer to the port. We parked at 8300 Park and Ride which is more than half price of the cruise port and only 10 minutes from the hotel we stayed at and from the cruise ...

Great Week, Great Ship, but a Little Too Crowded!

I loved the Breeze and my family had a wonderful week. I thought Mike Pack (cruise director) brought a great, positive energy to the ship. We loved the food options and were overall very happy with quality of food on ship. We are a vegetarian family but my husband and I eat fish. I ate a veggie burger from Guy's every day and it was amazing! No, they don't officially offer them on the menu but the ...

Try to avoid spring break

This is a lovely ship, probably the largest we have sailed on in our 30 plus years of cruising. We always go in the spring time and the spring breakers have never bothered us, until this year. And it wasn't the college students you associate with spring break, it was the younger children that are left to their own on the ships and do what any group of kids will do, get into everything. I blame ...

Our cabin was beautiful, plenty of room for 2 adults and 1 "child" (he is 14, but 6'2"!) We enjoyed the sports deck and the multitude of things to do each day. The food, as always, was excellent. I have never had a complaint about Carnival's food. The only problem is, which one should I eat? Great variety! Guy's Burgers were SO yummy, we usually headed there instead of the Marketplace for ...
