RIPPED OFF AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT CRUISE

Do not i repeat, do not book an norwegian/oceana cruise. You have been warned we are on the around the world cruise currently. the cruise is 196 days from miami florida to new york. It is utterly a complete disappoint. If i was to write every disappointment, we have experienced up to now it would be 10 pages. We are going to try to condense it. First, they advertises the best cuisine at sea. That ...

I was invited by a group of travelers who get together and go somewhere every year. I was excited about going on this cruise mostly because I wanted to cruise up the East coast and Canada and had never sailed with Regent. We all booked veranda/suites 16 in total. The ship was small in comparison, well maintained and clean. The staff from the Captain down was very friendly, accessible and ...

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly

We took this cruise because of the ports and the unique itinerary, sailing from Miami to Montreal. We were excited because the excursions were included, so we didn’t have to arrange them ourselves. Before the ship left Miami, the Great Stirrup Cay port was cancelled, as well as Fernandina Beach, and Freeport, Bahamas and Jacksonville, FL were substituted. Freeport was a rundown port, and the ...

We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary, which unfortunately changed several times. some of which i could understand and others not so much. The Navigator is a small ship and is quite an old lady, but saying that we had a great time onboard with a great crew and really nice fellow passengers. The food choice was the largest I have ever seen aboard any ship and was mostly very good with ...

Not Up To Regent Standards

Incredibly disappointed with this cruise (May '22 Miami to Montreal). Way too many issues to pay the kind of premium price that Regent commands and significantly below what they claim is a "luxury cruise experience!!!". Start with the disaster at embarkation: Arrived as requested to find about 200+ cruisers standing in line in oppressive heat with only two stations processing people. There were ...

“The Finest Vegan Fare Afloat” on This Ship Not Necessarily Healthy

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Marina

We recently decided to pursue more healthy diet lifestyle and noticed an Oceania brochure cover advertising “The Finest Vegan Fare Afloat”. Based on that ad, we signed up for a cruise on the Marina from Miami to Montreal, April 22-May 8, 2018 (Seaside Sojourn). We also had a number of pre-voyage email communications with a Special Services Coordinator at Oceania, regarding our dietary ...

we choose this cruise because we had heard good things about Regent and we liked the fact that it was all inclusive. We liked the ship itself. It was clean and well maintained. We did not like the pool because it was too hard to get into and out of. The concierge level cabin was nice. The bathroom had both a bath tub and a separate shower and we liked the fairly large walk in closet. ...

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on Insignia

This was our fifth cruise with Oceania, second on Insignia. We knew what to expect: good food and excellent service from friendly, enthusiastic and happy crew. We were again not impressed with the entertainment, Oceania's weakest point. The production cast, six young singers/dancers are high school level. There was only one guest entertainer who was really good, Jeri Sager, a broadway singer ...

Promised Concierge Level Veranda...didn't get it!

Let me first begin by saying this was our 3 rd. Oceania cruise and the itinerary and staff was wonderful. We enjoyed all the ports we visited and the staff was warm, friendly and professional. The food on the ship was very good, but being a small Oceania ship...there were only 2 speciality restaurants. As we got into cooler temperatures, the outdoor area of the buffet was closed, so it was very ...

My husband and I were on the Insignia July 1-19 for the Northern Crossing trip from Miami to Reykjavik. Overall, what a wonderful cruise; we really enjoyed the ship, several sea days, the ports and, most especially, staying in Reykjavik for a few days after disembarking. But this is about the ship. We had sailed previously on the Marina (three weeks around South America in 2013). We also ...
