A millennials love/hate relationship with Oceania.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Oceania Vista

Let me give you all some background so you understand the perspective we are coming from. My husband I are both millennials and have almost exclusively sailed on the so-called “ultra-luxury” lines, i.e. Regent, Silversea, Crystal and Seabourn as we prefer the small ship experience. Since childhood, my husband had always wanted to take a transatlantic cruise. Thanks to the fact that ships are ...

Nice cruise! Lost two ports due to bad weather. Royal Navy Shipyard and The Azores. First time on Vista. Cabins are not sound proof! We could hear our neighbors loud and clear! Horizons has changed no coffee machines and no food! Also coffee machines continued to be out of order in the concierge lounge! Loved the new Embers restaurant. Staff was excellent! Cabin was very nice had a concierge ...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary, which unfortunately changed several times. some of which i could understand and others not so much. The Navigator is a small ship and is quite an old lady, but saying that we had a great time onboard with a great crew and really nice fellow passengers. The food choice was the largest I have ever seen aboard any ship and was mostly very good with ...

Great First Yacht Club Experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

We chose this 3 day sailing as an introduction to the Yacht Club. We were markedly impressed with the service. The room was great and the food in the Le Muse restaurant was great. The servers remembered our drink preferences which was awesome. Our Butler and Assistant Butler were awesome. We will definitely be back to the Yacht Club. Areas that MSC could improve on would be some of the ...

We decided to go on this cruise because I would celebrate my 70th birthday on the ship, I had never been to the Caribbean, after 10 cruises we decided to try out a more luxury ship and finally we wanted to visit New York for the first time. We had previously sailed on the Tahitian Princess many years ago. It was also an R class ship, identical to the Journey. We loved the ship and the ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

To be completely transparent about my review, we booked this cruise about a month before we set sail. We took advantage of MSC's status match, which only put us at the silver level. We paid for a very inexpensive inside guarantee room, but when we were assigned a room, we were upgraded to an aft-facing balcony. The upgrade was so unexpected, and the room was so awesome, the cruise already ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Divina

I chose this cruise for the itinerary, because several ports had an overnight giving 2 days in those ports. I saw Divina launched in Marseille in 2011 and sailed on her as a solo traveller the following year, and loved it, so was looking forward to sailing on her again. I have a friend I travel with now but we choose to have our own cabins. Paying a single supplement is huge so we always book ...

Wanted to try an Ocean crossing. Dates worked heard good things about Oceania. The ship was lovely and very manageable in size. Food top rate service top rate. Accommodations in s penthouse suite very nice but not a large suite Bathroom was nice but shower a bit on the small side I felt considering the amount of days at sea activities were limited i did enjoy the cooking classes but did ...

Beautiful ship, excellent food and service, a few small glitches

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

Really a 4.5. Embarkation in Miami extremely easy especially if you were in one of the larger suites like we were--a Master Suite. But really it was only the difference between no wait and at most a 3-4 minute wait, there were over 15 agents taking care of the formalities. One unusual thing--first time ever in 2+ cruises that we were allowed to keep our passports. Ship itself is ...
