Amazing ship with a few challenges

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Icon of the Seas

Overall this is an absolutely amazing ship..leaps and bounds ahead of anything else in the RCL, NCL, or Carnival lines. We are two late-twenty/early-thirty childless females who have been on 20+ cruises and this is by far our favorite ship. It truly is unlike any other and feels like every inch of the ship was considered. We were told this sailing was one of the first at full capacity and, save ...

Very nice ship and friendly crew

I love cruises. Being on over 30 so far but this was my first experience on Virgin. I loved the ship on how modern it was and clean. The crew also were very friendly. The only down side are the following: - Confusing layout. They need better signs to get you around the ship. Often times the hallway just dead ends. Just adding more signs would be a huge improvement. Pluses are the rooms ...

7 day 70's R & R Charter cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Summit

This was a charter cruise so I will try to limit my review to those items to the Celebrity ship itself. We have been on this ship several times in a Consierge cabin with nice balcony. The room was spotless & our cabin steward, Komang, was great. As this was a intense music cruise not a lot of time was spent in the cabin but the time there was comfortable. We felt the food in the Main Dining ...

I loved it!!! Virgin likes to do things different and their cruises definitely are different- a good different. Overall everything was excellent- good food, good entertainment and a friendly, energetic crew. This was my second cruise. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth as silk. We loved getting the champagne at the sail away party. For us, it was nice not having to dress up and eat in a ...

Close to home, convenience. Florin, at Java Blue coffee was wonderful. He deserves a raise. No matter how long his lines were, he was always pleasant and ready to tell a joke. He also remembered names! Family did a great job keeping our rooms tidy and to bring whatever we needed or wanted. Lizzie, the Cruise Director, was super engaging and upbeat. She is a super find. The food is mediocre, but ...

We just got off the Icon of the Seas after it's 6th sailing. The ship is beautiful. Has so many wonderful things- but some negatives. Boarding was fast and easy- well organized- we entered Deck five- the promenade- it is spacious filled with many features of the Oasis class- but much wider and brighter- the Pearl is a beautiful structure on that level . Shops restaurants and so much to see. ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

I read a lot of horror about msc and the magnifica and is it luxury, not at all; does it have flaws, of course, was it enjoyable, very. Have an open mind because not everything can and should be perfect 1. Embarkation- very easy, we embarked an hour before scheduled time and it was totally fine. Once on board you go straight to your room (if it is ready) and you get your key card and we were ...

First cruise in 25 yrs. Was surprisingly easy getting on and off the ship in Miami. Really liked the wrist fob that did everything for you. Room key, ID, credit card. No need to carry your wallet or key. Sea view terrace room was plenty big enough. Had a tablet to control tv, curtains. mood lighting. Staff through out the ship were super nice and friendly. Room was spotless every day. ...

We just returned home from our Rivera Maya Voyage on Virgin's Scarlet Lady. This was my Partner and I's first experience sailing with Virgin, and the experience was great overall!! I think this cruise line will continue to make waves in the industry and I have a lot of appreciation for the way they stand out from other cruise lines. However, there were some aspects that did affect our experience ...

A Different Kind of Cruise

I am a travel agent and went on this cruise to experience Virgin Voyages so I can better sell to my clients. VV gifted me this cruise and this is my honest review. I just returned home from my trip on the Scarlet Lady with Virgin Voyages a couple days ago. It is so different than any other cruise I have ever been on, which is what they are going for. First the food, VV is known to be a food ...
