Nice adult-only getaway

The food was exceptional compared to other cruise lines, but the drinks were pretty weak. The crew was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The didn’t appear miserable and it looks like Virgin takes care of their staff. The captain was super nice and engaged with the passengers. Virgin is my 4th cruise line and it was the friendliest, most diverse and coolest group of passengers by far! ...

The cruise rocked the entire time and the tender to great stirrup cay also sucked because it rocked as well the food on the boat was okay nothing special though the only good thing that I ate was at osheehans and that was the wrangler burger and the wings but even then that kind of sucked everything closed super early and the adult only zone only allowed kids in and if the kids didn't go in then ...

The Good and Bad

The check in process was horrible. I have cruised on many cruise lines and this was by far the worst check in experience. I had to change my flight to an earlier flight, so we arrived at the Pier around noon. I tried to change our check in time in the app about a week prior to the cruise but I couldn't change it. Our check in time was 4:00 p.m. We had to wait on the curb until approximately ...

If you want to go on vacation to be annoyed and wait in line, then this is the ship for you! We choose this particular cruise due to itinerary (only repeat for was St. Thomas), and that it happened to work out with when we could take vacation time together. Granted, I haven't sailed NCL since the Norway (we have sailed others), but we also never, ever sail them again. Starting with ...

Great Brother's Vacation

My brother and I go on a yearly vacation and decided on cruising this year. I would highly recommend Virgin Voyages. Wonderful variety of food and activities on board. Plenty of time at sea to enjoy the ship. The best musicians on the ship were Ray and Jo, an Italian Brother/Sister duo. We went out of our way to find them while we enjoyed drinks multiple days. The Duel Reality show was an ...

Alright, let me start by saying I'm a seasoned cruiser, with more than 15 trips on my cruising resume. I've sailed with big names like Royal, NCL, Princess, and Carnival all around the globe. And hey, I gotta make it clear—I'm no Virgin employee, despite some other reviews that are clearly fake... Embarkation went pretty smoothly, not much of a delay, and the staff managed to handle any ...

Good concept with bad execution

The service, even when seated at restaurants, was very bad. We bonded with many tables and groups over how poor the service was. One couple mentioned they found the "bottom" to their "bottomless" drink too many times (they were literally just sticking around to make the purchase worth it as to not spend $40/person on a single drink) When laying out on the deck the glasses stack up and never ...

Geared for a younger crowd

I really wanted to enjoy a trip to 4 different places, 3 of which I had never been to before: Bahamas, Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, and British Virgin Islands. I thought the cruise would be the perfect getaway, allowing me to visit new lands and enjoy pristine beach time, relax and enjoy the sun. Well.... The cruise was extremely boring. Yes, it should be relaxing, but if you have an ...

Had a fantastic time - GREAT FOOD!

My wife and I had a fantastic time cruising with Virgin Voyages. The crowd was diverse, the ship was amazing, the food was great, staff was hospitable, and our XL terrace room was nice. We arrived about an hour for the cruise and was denied access to the ship. Therefore we had to take a Uber to the market place. A Van was supposed to take us back to the port but it was to crowded and it took ...
