First cruise in 25 yrs. Was surprisingly easy getting on and off the ship in Miami. Really liked the wrist fob that did everything for you. Room key, ID, credit card. No need to carry your wallet or key. Sea view terrace room was plenty big enough. Had a tablet to control tv, curtains. mood lighting. Staff through out the ship were super nice and friendly. Room was spotless every day. ...

I chose this cruise because if all the hype about the food. I was unfortunately disappointed in the food at the specialty restaurants and would have rather just eaten at the galley. The service was very slow and there seemed to be no rhyme or reason how the food came out of the kitchen. When at the Wake and Extra Virgin people that showed up later would get their food before people that had ...

Scarlet Lady Mega Rock Star review (Feb 2024)

First cruise with VV. Boat is only 2 years old and in sparkling condition. Layout did not lead to getting to know others as easily as I would have hoped. As Mega Rock Stars we had access to Richard’s Rooftop which had seating and a bar. The seats were circular and were better for privacy. With Mega Rock Star status we had a personal driver from hotel to ship, early check in and easy boarding ...

First Time Cruisers-Loved the experience

We really enjoyed our first cruise experience. Overall, the service was amazing for the amount of people on the ship. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. With that being said, the service wasn't perfect, but we didn't let that ruin the experience. Both embarkation and disembarkation was quick and efficient. We enjoyed the many varieties of bars and restaurants. We had no ...

We had a superb time. The entire trip had an air of grown and sexy. The food was great, entertainment was fantastic, and the venues were breathtaking. We scheduled our next voyage during the cruise. Oh did I mention, it's adults-only, yay. The cabin was a little smaller than what I'm used to but all areas of the cabin was useable space. So there was so much more in the smaller space. Also, the ...

We just returned home from our Rivera Maya Voyage on Virgin's Scarlet Lady. This was my Partner and I's first experience sailing with Virgin, and the experience was great overall!! I think this cruise line will continue to make waves in the industry and I have a lot of appreciation for the way they stand out from other cruise lines. However, there were some aspects that did affect our experience ...

We wanted to chillax, enjoy warm ocean breezes, see beautiful places, eat healthy, delectable food, be ourselves, see quality entertainment and do so in an “adult-only” setting. Our cruise to Cozumel and Biminy on the Scarlet Lady hit the mark and genuinely exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally hospitable, the ship spaces well designed, clean and we never felt “crowded”. ...

I am a travel agent and went on this cruise to experience Virgin Voyages so I can better sell to my clients. VV gifted me this cruise and this is my honest review. I just returned home from my trip on the Scarlet Lady with Virgin Voyages a couple days ago. It is so different than any other cruise I have ever been on, which is what they are going for. First the food, VV is known to be a food ...

Deck 14– room under a galley in the observation lounge

The ship is beautiful. We thought the staff and service was great although many people onboard disagreed. Good food options, as a picky eater I was always able to find something I liked. The pool deck is definitely way too small. Not enough room to put an adequate amount of chairs and loungers. If you want a lounger, be out by 7am. They try to make up for the lack of space by cramming regular ...

This is an amazing all adult Cruise line! If you keep an open mind you will have a ball. You have to think outside of the box. The entertainment on the ship is second to none. The crew aboard the ship are absolutely amazing, very attentive, and extremely nice and kind! The food aboard the ship is something along the lines of your most expensive restaurants on land. Your Ruth Chris or Morton's of ...
