Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

Enticed by their cheap deal discount 35% blah blah blah marketing campaign we booked three "upgraded rooms" for our family 4 day holiday on Freedom of the Seas. We also booked their proclaimed limited offer of discounted Dining / drinks / and Internet. Along with Shore Excursions. Our upgraded room was so bad / damp and strong smell of urine that we complained and accepted a state room under ...

Most horrible experience of my life

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seascape

Let’s start with the food. Absolutely atrocious, very disgusting. The best food was from the buffet but that’s if you want to eat the same thing for lunch and dinner everyday. The food gave us Food Poisoning from how bad it was. Threw up 2 whole days, the lines are insane to do anything. The elevators are horrible, we spent 15 minutes waiting for an elevator. Now the excursions, they were mostly ...

9 day Caribbean (on the ship currently). Sold Dominican Republic, San Juan PR, St. Martin, Antigua, St. Thomas, great stirrup cay. Received, Dominican Republic, San Juan, St. Thomas.. diverted to Nassau for an overnight, then missed great stirrup cay.. yes it was due to weather, which I understand is not in anyone’s control. But I will not cruise with Norwegian again until they install a port at ...

Just got off ship 2 days ago. This was our first time with royal Caribbean…and probably our last time. We booked this cruise to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and thought it would be fun. Room was outdated but decent. There was mold around the our bathroom sink and scattered all over in the shower…ok, i get it, it’s damp in there. Ok. Entertainment was slim. Only 1 comedy show and it was ...

Last time with MSC

MSC Seascape Back from our 3rd and last MSC cruise. This is, without question, one of the most beautiful ships I’ve ever sailed on. I will touch the main points as seasoned cruisers. Dinning package: 3 Restaurants for $99 per person. We bought the 3 venue dining package and found them to be decent. I was happy for the change, which provided much necessary variety. I don’t know ...

I have been in enough cruises with different lines to know the difference. This was my first (and last) time with MSC. The service is terrible, the staff is not friendly (Seldon say good morning and you have to make room for they are passing without saying a word), and the extra packages are just a lure to charge you more when you arrive at the restaurant. At one of the specialty restaurants we ...

Where to begin. We are getting ready to disembark our 7 day cruise through the Caribbean. I have to say this has been our worst cruise ever. We are diamond on Royal also equivalent on celebrity and have one cruise on Carnival and one on a luxury cruise with Cunnard. The food....sucks!! I ordered prime rib. I think they cut the meat for sandwiches. Truly it was maximum 1/4 " Thick. Next was I ...

Virgin Sailing a let down

When we were looking for a girls only trip, a cruise seemed perfect. We decided to choose Virgin because of the no kids and tipping included option. Also, the idea of an elegant Cruise as advertised seemed right up our alley. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. From the time we arrived, we were greeted not by a happy and gracious sailing crew, but unhappy, hurried, and generally tired ...

Very disappointed

I'll start with the smell, the sewer smell was so bad my husband threw up three times in the men's bathroom on the lido deck the first night. Our room would get the same smells and it would come and go, the last night it woke us up it was so bad. The lines to get a drink or water bottle for the drink package were ridiculous. There were no servers walking around to get you drinks. One of the doors ...

An incredible disappointment

In the last 2 years alone I've taken 6+/- cruises. Although we read some bad reviews about MSC Seascape, we thought "how bad can a new ship be?" Bad, very bad... but first, the good...the ship was new, our room had a bathtub! and the coffee is excellent! That's it. The bad... only has one theatre and the stage was small. The show, ohhh the show... They need a better producer and stage ...
