We chose to take this cruise thinking it would be fun and relaxing for each member of our four person family. Our youngest is one and our oldest is five. The five year old had a blast and was entertained throughout the entire cruise. Our one year old, however, had absolutely nothing to do but just walk around. Babies are not allowed in the pool even with swim diapers on. The website states that they peovide inflatable pools for babies, however, we got the run around from basically every single staff member we asked until finally we were informed that they no longer provided inflatable pools for health reasons. As a result, my husband and I had to split up with him taking my older daughter to the pool and me just walking around with the baby. They claim to have a room for babies and tots for “free play” so we went by there and it was a small little play mat in a large room with no more than seven toys on top. My one year enjoyed himself for a measly ten minutes until he was ready to get out of there. Note that the free play room online looks amazing and entertaining on the website but be aware that it doesn’t look anything like that in person. Speaking of things looking different online. What is up with Coco Cay island? It looks amazing online but we found out ON the cruise that it wasn’t even built out yet and wouldn’t be fully done until 2019. All they had was a beach area with beach chairs. Now I understand why we departed from there at 4:30. There’s really not much to do there at all. I won’t be a complete hater and will state some pros because there were quite a few. 1. Boarding and de boarding was a breeze. I appreciated how quick and stress free the process was. 2. The main dining hall had great food each night. We weren’t disappointed when dining there and really, you really don’t need to waste money on the speciality restaurants, the food was that great! Windjammer, however, wasn’t great. 3. Rooms were a decent size and clean. 4. Beverages were good and it’s totally worth it to get the drinks package if you plan to consume alcohol. Read Less

We chose this cruise, so we could enjoy Atlantis, and the exotic Bahamas. Unfortunately, it was only a 2 port stop. Didn't see much of either location. Our cabin toilet stopped working for 1 day and a half. No near by bathrooms either, had to go down 1 flight of stairs, or wait for ever for elevator! Our trop to Atlantis did not happen, as booked through R.C. and didn't know ship to event left at 8am. Very poor organization. Boring shows...we all did not like activities and pool vlosing so early! Doubt we will do R.C. again. Nice gym, but I'm on a ship for the fun!!! Coco Cay - private Island, be sure to brung your own snorkle gear, unless you want to rent a mask and more for $50.00, or new full mask for $90.00. Its a big lunch, and its hot there so put on sunblock before you go, eat a light breakfast. Ice show on ship was long, kinda dragged. Good for kids. Tribute band was average. Food in Windjammer is better than fine dinning...just so you know. Pools close at 11pm. Which we didn't even get to use, adinner at 6pm shows start at 8pm. Also they need to pkay Top 40 music at damce clubs. Not everyone digs Hip Hop. Boleros...no where to sit, or dance, and right by the smoke filled casino was very poor planning. Being asked on speaker to leave specific diner locations is a bit rude as well. Really thought for the price, we would get so much more!!! Read Less

3 night cruise with an overnight in Nassau. Second time on Carnival. First was a 7 night on Carnival Glory. The Glory was a bit nicer, food a bit better. This is an economical cruise that is as fun as you make it. The shows in the main theater were fantastically performed. Singers (especially the female) were exceptional! Went to Karaoke 2 nights and had a blast. Everyone is so excepting! Food was hit and miss. The comedians started very late and one night, only did Rated R 18+ shows. NOT TO MISS: Guy's Burger Joint! If there is a long line - it's worth the wait. The Pacific dining room is at the back of the ship. The location is nicer than the Atlantic. We wanted My Time dining, but was waitlisted. So we had to eat at the Early Time = 6pm. For the timed dining, you have a set table where you will eat each night. I think the table location is based on your cabin number. Our cabin was 7431 and our dining table was 431. Our table had a great view right by the window. The steaks are a bit tough and flavorless (except for too much char flavor). Crabcakes were surprisingly super good. I could have eaten multiple. Caesar salad and Baked Alaska were great. Servers in the dining room were fantastic! Bartenders at the 3 bar locations we went to were NOT friendly. They barely look you in the eye. Husband got a massage and my daughter and I got the mother and daughter massage. We've had massages on RC and NCL and this is the best we've had. The most relaxing and less painful. There is a big up-sell and pushing of products at the end. But a polite "no thank you" was all that was needed. The salon and spa area didn't look as nice as the other ships we've been on. We waited in the salon for our massage therapists and saw a woman getting her hair done. She was Indian and was having a beautiful jewel on her forehead, threaded through her hair. At the end she asked him to part her hair down the middle and he flat out said "NO". Casino smoke was awful!! I smelled it on the Glory when walking through, but it was really bad on this ship. Also, marijuana wafted throughout our hallway every day. Not enough lounge chairs in the shade. There should be more along the sides of the ship. We liked to sit in the loungers by the ping pong tables - outside the doors to the pool, turn right and up the stairs. There might be more shady spots, but that's what we found. Putt putt was fun, but was way too hot to finish. We overnighted in Nassau. There is space for about 4 or so cruise ships. There were 2 ships already docked. Our ship was docked at the farthest spot from the entrance. It was a pretty long walk and very hot. We made our own arrangements and did not do a Carnival shore excursion. I got a day pass for Breezes. We had planned to take a bus to Breezes but were persuaded by the tourism people in the Welcome Center to get a taxi. They had told us it would be $18 and the drivers told us $24. It was all pretty stressful and chaotic. So be prepared to pack your patience. All of the food and drinks were included at Breezes. Jerk Chicken and Conch Fritters were awesome! We got there around noon and there were not a lot of umbrellas left. But we pulled up 3 loungers under a big palm tree and it was fantastic. The beach seemed very safe and only a couple of people asked if we wanted our hair braided or wanted wraps or necklaces. We took our snorkels but didn't see anything except sea grass and some weights. The water is crystal clear and calm. I'm glad we weren't staying at Breezes. It seemed a bit tired. Overall, a fun time. It's not luxurious. But it's an economical way to cruise! Read Less

So first experience on Norwegian. I have cruised several time on Carnival and Royal Caribbean as I plan many trips for others and myself and I am sad to say this ship lacked entertainment and food selections. Also many of the staff were very rude. I was super excited but was disappointed and possibly may not try Norwegian again. The choices of what to do on the ship are slim and most thing that are offered close early. The cabin was a little smaller than I'm use to and unfortunately the king bed kept pushing apart. Once off the ship it a blast. At one point I went to ask where something was and bartender did not even let me get a word out before she slid the sign in my face and walked away. At dinner the waiter brought out my plate and steak was well under he seemed so irritated to take the plate back and took forever to ring it back. And several other encounters. Oh and the muster drills was crazy. I was eating when a staff let me know i must get up now to go to muster drill i believe its called. He said i had to go right now. SO i leave my food and go. I stood there for what felt like an hour. You are lined up in a tight space while they yell get off your phones and please move back. If i moved any further I would have become one with the person behind me. We spent awhile there waiting and finally something was coming over the loud speakers but you couldn't hear anything then a horn blew and we were herded back into the hallways and free to go. Compete waste of time I learned nothing and felt slightly agitated to begin my cruise. They may need to visit other cruise companies to see how they do it. Much shorter and smoother. I left this cruise thinking it was ok could have been worse. Read Less

this cruise was chosen by someone else as a mother daughter cruise and it was fine for the party purposes and getting a group of people together. Getting on and off the ship was fine. OUr cabin was old and worn but a great size and balcony was roomy as well. ship seems loud on pool deck , you could find a quiet area but not near the pool. bands were loud and located in the center areas which I didn't like either. just wasn't a good fit for me but if you want noise and partying then it would be great. excursion on to cococay was just a cabana rental which was expensive and not as advertised. lunch was a mini buffet at the bar which wasn't as extensive as the main buffet. the advertisement said we would have more service. there was none. they didn't take our lunch order or drink orders . the open cooler with what used to be ice was all melted when we reached the cabana (around 10:30 or 11am) because they just sat it up front in the sun so the waters didn't stay cold the whole time of use. Just little things but when you pay over $300 you should be able to expect the services advertised. Also it was advertised as a private area but this was not controlled. they gave us wristbands but allowed others without wristbands into the area. Read Less

Staff was not very helpful when asking a question. Many times once they realized you were not purchasing one of the add on products the staff would simply walk away. Communication while on board the ship was lacking, confusing and not very accurate when you did receive some communications. Just did not appear the crew knew what was going on around the ship. Also did not appear to have a positive attitude. Not service oriented but rather more interested in selling the add on products. The Coco Cay island had way too much 4 wheeler traffic. You had to continually watch for the 4 wheeler when walking around the island and the noise level was not relaxing. Some sections of the ship are in need of some refurbishment. The staterooms are in need of new furniture and refurbishment. Our bed was hard and the furniture appeared to be very worn and reflected damage on some of the furniture. Read Less

We found this cruise to be somewhat disappointing. The ship itself is very dated, rusty and wood trim scaling. The cabin furnishings are dated, worn and chipped. The staff was dismissive at times, especially if you declined the "upcharges." Some staff members wouldn't even respond when spoken to or acknowledge your request. Casino needs better ventilation, smoke smell was horrendous! The food was average-except in the main dining salon and the specialty restaurants. Beverage stations were inconsistently available. We didn't like having to ask for amenities like shower gel, lotion and conditioner. Bathroom was only stocked with shampoo and bar soap. I guess we are used to a higher level of cruising. (Disney) Our main dining staff was a bright spot in our cruise. They were very attentive and pleasant, they went the extra mile to make our experience nice. We really enjoyed our evening meals with our dinner companions. I'm afraid we will really think twice before booking again. Read Less

We chose this cruise for a family vacation. We took a group of 11 ranging in age from 3 to 50. We chose this ship because it was a 3-day cruise. This was a factor because our children had never sailed before, and we weren't sure if they would get sea-sick. Our children enjoyed themselves. They enjoyed everything from the activities to entertainment, but they hated the beds. But, as people who have cruised before, this ship left something to be desired for the parents. The staterooms seemed small and dated. It looked as if the bathrooms had been updated, but all of the other features of the stateroom had not been. Since there are only a few dining options..the Windjammer café is where most people eat. It feels like a cattle-call. There doesn't seem to be nearly enough seating to accommodate the number of passengers onboard. Royal Caribbean has a good product, I just think that this ship is one of their older ships. Perhaps it should be retired. Read Less

We had an overall pleasant experience on the Enchantment of the Sea. This was our 4th cruise and we were excited to return to Royal Carribean as we previously felt it was our favorite. The postitves of the cruise were our stateroom attendent who was always very friendly and willing to help. We also enjoyed the waitstaff in the main dining room. We were very disappointed by the food in the Main Dining Room and Windjammer. We felt breakfast was crowded and the food was mass produced meaning the waffles were hard and French was stiff. We came back for lunch one day and found nothing to eat. The food in the Main Dining Room also fell short because of its lack of choices outside of Steak or Fish. Also my husband had fruit each night for an appetizer because of lack of non seafood choices. The ports of call were ok and the weather (which we understand can’t be controlled) was mostly cloud everyday. Read Less

I chose this cruise as a birthday present for my girlfriend. Embarkation went well as did the first night... The food was ok I guess, we were very hungry so I didn't complain much. The second day we started with breakfast in the main dining room and service was slow as hell, three couple's that arrived after we ordered got our food before we did. When we got back to our room I was impressed that it had already been cleaned, but then as I sat down on the bed I saw a big yellow urine stain on the foot of the bed....I know the sheets had been washed but the sight was off putting and those should have been thrown away. For the remainder of our trip the food was horrible onboard. Food was on a tier of what you would get in a school cafeteria...beef was mixed with filler such as soy and breading in burgers, even the steaks looked and tasted weird...kinda like a steak you would get from a waffle house. I've cruised 5 times. 4 on RC. Its lost its magic. Staff constantly talking about rating on surveys, obviously worried about losing their jobs. Pushing staff too hard on these. As a Crown and anchor Gold member, I expect to feel a little more special. Nothing on this trip, not even a welcome back... Not coupons, savings, additional services, etc. This ship needs another overhaul or selling. The rust on the main deck (5) is very apparently. Also shows on the pirt windows (outside on deck 3). Just didnt seem well maintained from the outside. Inside was better. Scheduled entertainment times and days need to be reviewed. Badly timed, including the last night, when you struggle as you have to put your case out by 11pm with the clothes I'm wearing, so not entertainment possible unless I go in my next day clothes, shorts and flip flops. Cococay is undergoing major work. No mention of this until the night before. Half of the island is not accessible. Appear to be making hotel rooms there and a large dock. Key west is boring. Not much to do there and nassua is all about paradise island and the cost is simply crazy. No access to water on the ship unless I bought a drinks package. I shouldn't have to pay for water. Told to call room service for water. Only available during meal times. Not good enough... Read Less

We spent more money thinking that we get a better experience on Royal Caribbean especially their infant in room baby sitting services. When we boarded, we learnt there is no trained staff available for that cruise. The main dining room menu is very limited and the dishes we tried are not so tasty. We got bored of the food on the third day as the menu was pretty much same all the three days. The timings of the youth programs and infant programs are little off. The positives are the stateroom service and all the crew on the ship. These people are hard working people and really passionate to provide the best service. The embarkation and arrival procedures are very good. The shore excursions are expensive. The coco cay island experience was great. The beaches are very clean and very well maintained. Overall, I don't think it is well worth the money we spent. Read Less

Joined a group of friends who had already booked. We are partial to the Enchantment because we were married 11 years ago on this ship. After sailing a few larger ships and a Mega-ship, I much prefer the smaller crowds and short lines on the smaller ships. I will definitely sail Enchantment again - as long as we go with a group of people, the lack of activities available onboard really doesn't matter. This was a great vacation, the only negative was the transfer from the ship back to the airport - we had to wait for one hour while the driver filled the bus completely, then another half hour for him to drop most everyone off at American Airlines before he dropped us at the Delta side of the airport...We will definitely taxi it next time! Coco Cay was not very impressive, we decided we just wanted to relax that day and reserved a lounger. The location where the loungers are placed have only ankle-deep water...we walked out about a quarter mile before deciding to turn around - I have no idea how far the shelf extends. It would have been nicer if we could have bobbed in at least waist-deep water. In addition, the location of all the loungers is on the leeward side, so there are no ocean breezes. It was hot, sticky, and not very fun or relaxing. We walked the shore, and didn't spend much time 'lounging'. We left before lunch was served and went back to the ship to have lunch. On Key West we did a kayak excursion, I'd never kayaked before, and it has been thirty some-odd years since my husband has. There was no instruction, just a 'paddle right to turn left and left to turn right'. This excursion was not good for a beginner - spent most of the time trying not to crash into other kayaks or the tangle of mangrove branches. It might have been a good excursion if I'd known what I was doing... Pleased with the friendliness and hard work of the crew onboard Enchantment. Read Less

My experience on other cruises were better. Never been on royal before but heard from other passengers on boat that their experience wasn’t as good as the other ships they have gone on with royal. Food in main dining room was good but not a big selection on the menu. At the windjammer the food selection was pretty much the same everyday. I think there should of been cookouts and more entertainment at the pool side for more entertainment. Some of the wait staff wasn’t approachable. Bartenders were fast and friendly(Jamie Jay was my favorite) . They made my experience better since the food experience wasn’t that great. I do have to mention that when I was dropped off at the terminal, the bag ternant asked me for a tip, when I tipped him he said that it was enough for 3 people and snatch the cash out my hand. I won’t say I’ll never be back on royal since I go on cruises for destinations and dates but Royal will be my last choice. Read Less

Wanted to do a quick cruise to break up the mundane day to day routine. Normally sail 5-7 day cruises so this was different and quick, but good in its own way. Guest services staff could use a customer service class or too but the rest of the crew was great. The ship is smaller but good for the brevity of the trip. The inside room I had was quite smaller than any I’ve been in before. Another party that booked with us had an inside room a floor below that was quite bigger. Plenty of activities planned, there was never a dull moment. The convience of having a open bar was nice, until about 10pm when it became a booze cruise. Like any where, there were the few obnoxious people on board. The time at each port was a good amount of time. Embarking and disembarking was a breeze. Much easier than I’ve experienced before. This was my first time on a Norwegian ship and all in all I would take this cruise again. Read Less

We choose this cruise for its Monday through Friday dates that worked with our schedule. I did read the review prior to making plans, so I do agree with most of the previous review in regards to food, and the ship is older. The ship is smaller and outdated of which I hope RCL does pay attention and make plans to revisit their smaller older ships with make-overs. With a smaller ship, you do get fewer options regarding on ship activities. The food was average. The coffee in the main dinning room is not strong, when we asked why one young lady attendant said its because they believe "people don't want it strong in the morning." I noticed three staples items everynight, mash potato, Cesar salad creme brule (spelling, not sure). Lobster used to served on one of the nights but now there's a charge. Only two specialty dining options Chef's table or Chops grille. Of course, I'm comparing our first RCL on Allure of the seas to Enchantment. Boarding is better on a weekday than a weekend. Getting off was easier with no Customs to go through on the last day. However, the shows, cast, the Cruise director, plus the crew made up for all else. They were very friendly and attentive, fun and engaging. We did miss out on the Coco Key private island on Wednesday due to rough seas. But we made the most of that day at sea. Being our first to Key West, it was neat to have rented bikes and explore KW on our own, conveniently located right off the ship. This is just a nugget of information for moms out there with kiddos our kiddos age.I noticed that this ship would not have been good for our kids as far as activities. They had one rock climbing wall of which was not open for most of the cruise due to wind and weather, I did not see things on Enchantment that were on the Allure, Oasis or the newer out of the dockyard. Again, with my observation and slight experience, bigger and newer would accommodate my 16,14 and 6-year-old had we cruised with them. I hope this small bit of information helps :) Happy cruising. This was our first time cruising with Norwegian and we received the cruise as a gift. We would recommend this cruise for young adults mainly because of the open bar atmosphere. The ship was clean and well maintained on the outside, pools were always open and clean, but some of the restrooms tended to flood themselves out; this may be due to the passengers, not the crew or ship maintenance, but it still was a nuisance. The entertainment, music, parties, and shows were all above excellence! If you have time to watch every show, the dancers and singers were amazing and the on-board bands, instrument players were top-notch! Even the comedian was impressive! Our cabin was small for a balcony room and we only had a single door with a porthole window, so it seemed really closed off and lacked a lot of outside, natural light. We never even met our Steward; he had his name on a card on the first day, but never met him throughout the cruise. Our room was cleaned and turned-down during the day, but a lot of things were missed, we even had trash still in our room more than once and we had our towels taken and not replaced once. The main-dining room for dinner was outstanding, we really loved the fact that there wasn't a dedicated time you had to eat, we never had an issue with dinner. For the buffet, food was sometimes never warm or even cooked properly, the staff behind the counters always seemed like they were too busy and never looked up at the guests, and the food never tasted fresh. The wait staff for the buffet area were nice and very quick to clean and restock table supplies. We did not utilize shore excursions on this trip since we had already been to Nassau and we just wanted to relax for the weekend. We spent the tendered day by the pool-side when it wasn't too crowded and the pool was very well taken care of. Lastly, this is a cruise with an open bar, with that in mind, drink selections were also very limited (for instance, they did not offer Grasshoppers, which is one of my favorite pool-side drinks), and a lot of the other passengers were very disrespectful. I do not blame Norwegian on this, but it should be known that other passengers can ruin an experience for you as well. On our last evening on the ship, we returned to our cabin at midnight and tried to fall asleep; outside of our cabin, there were many other passengers yelling, screaming, laughing to loudly, running down the hallways, and banging on walls and other doors which kept us away past 3AM. There was even a moment during the night that it sounded like someone dropped a piece of furniture on the floor and the whole stateroom shook! Overall, if we had a choice, we would not do Norwegian again, but for anyone who wants to party for a week or weekend, it seems like a great value for the price. Read Less

I organized a birthday party for 13 women on the Norwegian Sky April 27 - April 30, 2018. I had never been on cruise and never really wanted to go on a cruise, however my friend who was celebrating her 50th birthday loves to cruise so I thought this would be a great way to celebrate. Let me say that I also do not like all inclusive resorts. A few of us decided to get the largest rooms we could, so we booked two Owners Suite - 9201 & 9202 and I am glad we did. Upon arriving at the Sky I noticed that most of the passengers were very young which had me worried. It looked like Spring Break. The rooms were ok. Somewhat dated and some things just did not work - like the phone, which made it hard to call for the service. The suite has one outlet that made hair dryers, IPhones etc hard to use. Our private deck was perhaps my favourite spot. Very peaceful. Our 'butler' Willie was really great. We had wine and cheese in our suites every day. It became a gathering spot for everyone. The dinner we had in the 'speciality' restaurants were good. Cagney's and The Bistro were surprisingly nice. We had breakfast at Cagney's or ordered room service fro breakfast. This cruise is really designed for those who like to drink ( I don't) - a lot - as all the alcohol is free. It is loud around the pool and you can't really get into the pool or hot tubs as people seem to live in them. Plus it doesn't seem very clean. My friend loved all the 'activities' on the boat although not for me. I wish they had a early morning yoga class? The shore excursions were old. Nassau is really looking tired and our Atlantis trip was average (I stayed here long ago). The Stirrup Cay excursion was more of the same. Lots of drinking, loud music and not much to do. I found all the people who worked on the ship to be very friendly and helpful. I like the priority boarding. As I suspected a cruise is not for me. I don't really understand travelling with so many people to a destination. The boat at night on the sea was beautiful but I can't help think that these floating resorts are getting out of hand. I know my friend loved her trip and she will be back on board another cruise. As for me, I'll kayak and sail but leave the cruising for others. Read Less

Overall the crew and staff were excellent. You never waited for a drink refill or assistance to do anything. The shows were ok. The highlight were the two musical variety shows. The stage is feeling it’s age. Some stage lights were broken or off, especially in the first show. The two comedies were what I’d expect in an older poconos resort. Ok if there is nothing else to do but not something I’d go to a second time. Food was plentiful. There bread and pastries were top notch. Chops grill was worth the 50 up charge for the two of us. Did not make it to cocci cay due to weather but the captain brought us to nice weather for our unexpected day at sea Tried rock wall. It was fun.staff was supportive. Tried bungee trampoline It was fun. Anyone could do it. Nice view while jumping Overall I’d try a different ship Read Less

This was my 7th cruise but the first with Carnival. The experience was what I expected which was a good cruise trip. This was a "guys trip" weekend getaway so the price of the cruise is what drove us here. The boat was dated, but clean. We had a balcony room with was a smaller balcony that I've had on other ships, but did have two chairs and was an ok place to sit. Food lines were long at the buffet and most of the food was mediocre at best. Certainly the lowest quality of food I've had on a ship. That being said, the pizza station actually made a very good pizza to your specs. The seafood bar was nice (but an additional charge). The crew were all VERY nice and helpful. A massage at the spa was $129 for 50 minutes and was ok. They hit you hard about buying all their products when you're done which wasn't the most pleasant way to end the massage. 15% gratuity is added to every drink order and the cost of the "all you can drink package" is high in my opinion. Both occupants of the room have to buy the package and it is almost $0 per day per person. For our cruise, leaving Friday afternoon and returning Monday morning (7am) they wanted $395 for the drink package. (which limits you to 15 drinks a day) Beer was $8.00 a pop so you can figure out your breakeven point. It is a younger, less refined party clientele and for a guys weekend party trip was the perfect ship. I will choose other cruise lines when taking the wife on a nice vacation. Overall the majority of the Victory crew were very nice and helpful Read Less

Service was great but does not have a lot of options inside. I expected to have more restaurants and activities. We discovered there were snacks the third day. You do not receive a detail information at the beginning. I would like o have plays in theater, or something else to do no such dancing or music. Beverage cost is ridiculous, so expensive, there must have a plan for family, i have to buy a plan and so do my wife. Once I went to the bar with my wife card, and the bartender asked me to call her to obtain a glass of wine. I felt like if i was a thieve. Excursions are very poor, cruise line need to be more involved. I went by myself in Nassau and also in Key West. Lost a lot of time guessing where are the facilities and what to do. Stores does not open everyday. Does not have pharmacy and there is no snack store to buy anything you need after hour. After disco time, there was only one snack station that nobody new about it. Solarium place is very close and is so hot that is difficult to breath. Read Less

The Norwegian sky was a nice cruise line but not what it was talked up to being. The rooms are a little outdated. We had a balcony and it could of used some updating. The buffet was ok, the restaurants were better. Crew members were nice but would not go over and beyond. Overall it was a good cruise, nothing special. It’s good for a quick getaway but nothing crazy, or out of this world. Also, the sheets in the rooms are changed during your whole stay. The sheets should be changed if not everyday, every other day. The sky needs to put more shows on board, and the club needs to be upgraded. The cruise needs more activities for people, it was kind of boring. The lines to get a drink were too long at times (most of the times). When on vacation I don’t want to wait for a drink. Read Less

We chose this cruise for a bachelorette party, we were glad to not have to worry about logistics. Overall it was a good experience for the price we paid. Pros: -The chefs table dining experience was incredible and I highly recommend it. - the staff was friendly and accommodating - The cabanas at coco cay are 100% worth it - The piano bar is incredible. - The on site activities director was extremely fun and engaging Cons: -The ship was built in the 90s and is in desperate need of a reno. -The ship smelled strongly of sewage on the 2nd and 3rd decks. -there was a lot of waiting in line, kids running around, and crowds. -drinks are expensive and watered down and service is slow. - we were at coco cay during low tide and it turned the beach into a marsh which is not conducive to swimming. - Almost missed my return flight that i booked with the air to sea package. I was ready and got in line to to get off the boat at 7 to make my 1030 flight. We didn't get off the boat until 745, and I waited for my shuttle until 9:00!! I hadn't grabbed a water or coffee or breakfast because I didn't want to miss my shuttle or flight, when I asked about when it would arrive they would respond with "it's on its way, you should be fine." Had I known it was so late I would have gotten breakfast on the ship and gotten a cab to the airport instead. I was extremely annoyed. I arrived at my gate 15 minutes before my flight which was extremely stressful. Overall, if you're not picky about your accommodations and are looking for a getaway where you don't need to plan anything this is a good value for the money. Read Less

The trip was a weekend getaway that coincided well with the long weekend for Easter. Getting in and out of the ship was easy. However I was rather disappointed with the size of the cabins- really small including the bathroom which are usually small on ships but this was really tiny. Also the bathroom had a wet rag kind of smell that never really went away. The food was fine but nothing exceptional. We did use the French Bistro and were surprised the meal was not better considering we had to pay an extra fee as it was a la carte. I would have preferred a flat rate for the restaurant as this was really nickel and diming .Most cruise ships we book the restaurants and the meals are really fine dining. This was not. The main dining room we found the portions unusually small which was a surprise. For example I ordered the Coquille st. Jaques and it was 4 really tiny scallops on a teaspoon of sauce. Not even served in a clamshell. They could have used the medium sized scallops. the breakfast was good however the setup is not conducive to large crowds. The people ordering omelettes held up the whole line for those wanting just a simple continental choice. I would suggest separating the stations. I.e. Breads/pastries, Fruits/yogurt cereal, Hot station and a separate space for those omelette lovers. Use either round stations or separate them out better in the restaurant if it must be a line. This was a very loud bunch in terms of passengers. Maybe it was the price but there were a lot of large groups who needed lessons in personal space so as not to intrude on others wanting a relaxing space for some downtime. Read Less
