Service is lackluster on this beautiful ship

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

We had a fantastic time in spite of the crews best efforts to ruin it. Galley was horrible each time we went. Food came 10-15 minutes apart and once never came. My wife and I were not able to eat breakfast or lunch at the same time any of the 5 times we tried. Servers and supervisor showed no genuine concern or desire to please. Extra Virgin and Pink Agave were both excellent. Would not recommend ...

Lots of potential, severally understaffed.

Definitely a different style of cruising, so make sure your Virgin Voyages is your style before booking. Overall concept was great, food was great, entertainment was good. Recommend going to the drag show, it was amazing! Issue is ship is currently extremely understaffed, especially back of house, kitchen, and bars. This caused major delays for the restaurant for those with reservations, and ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

On our previous MSC Seaside cruise, we had a fantastic experience in an Aurea Balcony room, which is why we decided to book another MSC cruise. This time, we opted for a cheaper Fantastica Balcony room with an obstructed view, hoping to try a different style of cruising. Although I wouldn't describe this experience as terrible, it was definitely disappointing, especially when compared to our last ...

To set the stage- travelling with my husband (52 yrs old), myself (51 years old) and our two daughters (20 & 22 year olds). First time on a cruise ( but we are a family who will travel 1-2 times per year). Our cruise package included the unlimited beverage, 1 specialty dining, $50 excursion credit & 150 minutes per passenger for wifi). On-boarding - going through x-ray screening fairly ...

Average food and few views of the ocean

This ship has a lot of positive coverage on YouTube, but we feel the reality fell short. The main problem was the lack of ocean views and this is probably the main reason we didn’t enjoy the cruise compared to smaller ships. The only place with good water views is the buffet. Everywhere else feels like a high end mall or Las Vegas. If you don’t have a balcony room, you can easily go the whole day ...

This was the second cruise my wife and I have ever done, the first was on Royal Caribbean in the West Caribbean. We chose to go on this cruise because we wanted to try other cruise lines and we got a good deal on this one. We arrived at the cruise terminal via Lyft an hour early. We checked two bags curbside and then quickly got through the check in and security and onto the ship in 20 ...

Service vs. Entertainment

The entertainment and parties were GREAT! However the service at the Galley needs a lot of improvement, 1) Order took a very long time to be served; 2)orders were incorrect or partially served; 3) tables were not cleared. I for see this line slowly digressing and deteriorating. Reservations at the restaurants were difficult to obtain. Pool was small and by the afternoon I would not swim in ...

The worst ship ever; not for people of color

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seascape

Let me just be clear if you’re a person of color this is not the cruise line for you, this ship was designed for Latinos and every night is dedicated to them only. My family and I were a group of 13 people who felt discriminated and segregated. For example my stepmom was at the light tower waiting in line for hours and was turn away that there was no more space and 3 Latin person was added to the ...

I cruised with 7 ladies and we wanted to try an adult-only cruise. Most of us had never tried Virgin Voyages before and we love to drink and dance, so why not? The specialty restaurants all served great food. But don't expect to be able to get a timely cocktail. Bartenders were overwhelmed at all the ones we tried. Also, get your reservations early... The galley restaurant for quick ...

This cruise line customer service is very cold and lacks in personal touch. Activities and dining was always completely booked. All dining options closed too early could not even get ice cream after 10pm. Only one large pool on the entire ship. Nice workout facility area and options. The technology was a nice change but app stopped working towards end of the cruise. The food in dining areas was ...
